    Yes. Piercing Shot and Crippling Shot are weak. Go 15/20 (Master Archer or not) up MM if you want to stay RDPS.

    So just go 5 in? I hate 51 ranger, but if you like it more power to you. All you have to go is 5 points in for the Swift Shot buff, and you get hasted shot which is a stronger finisher.

    it is not a decrease... its been tested both with parsers and by the math. the forum bads post all kinds of bad info then say something sucks because they do not play it right

    Done extensive testing both in the alpha and in live, along with several others.

    Most definitely a decrease.

    I`m interested in this. I`m still learning so, for rdps single, just use those three, spam to 5CP then headshot all the way? I assume we`d take the talent to get a bleed on swift shot?

    What I was doing previously was trying to keep headshot and the other finisher`s buffs up then using empowered shot as a finisher - Yes I`m a noob, blah blah I`m trying to learn to play here move along trolls -

    prove it... back it up with math. Math is the basis of everything in all games. Prove that a 280 base damage shot (average) that takes 2 seconds can ever be a loss over 2 90 damage shots that take a min 2.5 seconds to cast (latency makes 1 per second impossible).


    By the math it can NEVER be a loss and that is not even counting the auto attack speed buff.

    So using math, because math cannot lie, prove how 280 (base damage) in 2 seconds from shadow fire shot, is a DPS loss over 180 (base damage) in 2.5 seconds with 2 quick shots

    Buried in the sea of QQ threads, I've posted parses with/without shadow fire and splinter shots a few weeks ago. Shadow fire increases the your dps while splinter is still debatable. While some people argue that splinter decreases your dps, my parses showed an increase that is almost negligible. My opinion is not to bother using it.

    They can't prove this because all they check with are dodgy DPS parsers and they play badly. Basic maths wins every time...
