Default Macro that stops ranged attack from targetting next mob?

    Hello all,

I use a few macros picked up in these forums that are great for spamming abilities during a ranged fight. However, sometimes after the last mob in a pull is killed, my macro will auto target the next mob, who may not be involved in the pull, leading to occasional mayhem.

I know I can stop spamming near the end of fights to avoid this, but is there a command I can put in a macro that stops it from auto-targeting the next mob once the current target is dead?

    Thanks

Turning off smart targeting should do it.

Yep, smart targeting is it (in the options), had the same problem once, easy fix, when you are aware of it's cause

I'm almost certain I have it turned off, but will double check.

yeah, i was using that in my macro for a bit, but found it didn't help... autoattack just plain breaks for no reason...and startrangedattack doesnt fix it. However it didn't make me attack a random mob, my guess is you were hitting tab before your combat ended.
