Default I'm an Assassin, how's Nightblade? (PvP)

I recently looked at the Nightblade tree, thinking a good way to kick off the weekend would be to try a new soul. I'm not exactly sure what to think of it. It certainly sounds nice, but I don't know of anyone who uses it in PvP. So if you have, how is it?

Its not bad..... Its not great either...

Truth be told, I've only have about a week of testing. I grabbed it for the ranged attacks, and they help a lot!

I can't really offer much more at this time as I'm still green (coming from a paragon/BM).

best open world pvp soul in the game, can easily take 3 oppoents at time (unless they got too much heals)

    does fine in blackgarden aswell

id prefer if you didnt spread it around tho, wouldnt want NB nerfed

Combine the two. They work very well together.

Actually NB/sin does really well at kill healers quickly.

NB does well with pretty much any other rogue soul.

Heavy NB just happens to let you make yourself nigh invulnerable for a good period of time while latching onto a target and spamming fell blades on them.

Its funny when people keep trying to DPS you during blackout when all they have to do is use a single long-breaks-on-damage CC on you. (all it stops is >damage< effects >after< you click it, after all.)

I've been playing an Assassin for 2 weeks. I usually do ok in pvp. Mostly just trying stun healers and throw blindes and such where I see they can benefit. I decided to test out a combo of 32 points Nightblade and rest into Riftstalker. It worked well in PvE and in PvP I put out aboug 20k more Damage Done then 2nd place.

    What does that even mean?

What is a good compliment to NB? Sin? RS?

You have to prestige your pvp rank at 50 to reach upper tiers.

Depends, im at 48 on my rogue and have been rocking 32 bard 31 NB and its amazing for leveling/dungeons.

Keep your motiffs running. Use rift/dusk/primal (cadence when u need to heal) Spec fury and wrath and use those are your finishers with coda of restoration when heals are needed. Pop your 80% less damage, virtuoso and pull like 20 mobs as your fury em down

Sounds like he means combine NB with a pretty high ranking of Infiltrator

Always being rift and assassin for pvp im interested in trying out the NB or BD tree for pvp, however when I have tried the nb for pvp I find that you give up alot of either A. Mobility or B. Stealth in order to go high into it. Could anyone post some builds and perhaps skill rotations for pvp with NB?

I can't link a build because I'm on my phone but I use nb/rs for warfronts and its pretty awesome. I also use BD for sidesteps. Along with sidesteps I have a 30% dmg reduction cd and the 80% dmg reduction one, I have four teleports and every time I use them I absorb damage and get increased crit rating (or maybe dmg buff). it is almost impossible for someone to escape. Use SOD everytime you want to kill someone, its a lot of extra damage. For warriors blink away and use the skill that channels doing a lot of damage and locking them down. Its a lot of fun
