    Default Bladedancer hotbar setup

Hi guys. I just acquired my 4th role and am trying out Bladedancer. It seems like alot of abilities, and being one who is usually organized with the hotbar setup, I'm having some trouble. NOTE: I increased the UI Scale for better hotbar visual.

Usually my generic setups are like:

1-5 are Combo Point Generators or Stun/Snare
    Shift+1-5: Finishers
    Ctrl+1-5: Special Attacks and AoE
    Alt+1-5: Cooldowns

Can anyone give me any tips to get Bladedancer spells in a better setup? Thanks

    Default Macro.

    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Reprisal
cast Puncture (you can remove this if you did not spec into it in the Assassin tree.)
    cast Precision Strike
    cast Quick Strike
    cast Keen Strike

This macro will look for the reactive ability "Reprisal" first before attempting to cast "Puncture" or "Precision Strike." the later two abilities are on a 10sec CD so you want them casted first to get that CD going. It will then look for "Quick Strike" before casting "Keen Strike." You want these abilities in this order in the macro in order for best DPS through-put.

P.S. - Enjoy the Bladedancer soul, it's a lot of fun. This macro will save you 5 hot-keys.

    i use these macro's:
    #show keen strike
    cast precision
    cast quick strike
    cast keen strike

    #show disengage
    cast disengage
    cast reprisal

    #show dancing steel
    cast blade tempo
    cast dancing steel

rest of the skills are on seperate buttons as they are needed on different time and become hard to macro into a standard rotation. In PVE though, you can simple make this macro:
    #show blade tempo
    cast blade temp
    cast double coup
    cast dualism
    cast blade and soul parity

Whenever exhaustion on you ends, press this button for the next damage increasing skill. Though BD isnt the best PVE soul, it has some great synergy with both assassin and NB (assassin for increased damage, crit and crit damage. NB for flat damage increase).

I use almost the same macro except spread into 3 macros for preciseness.

    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Disengage
    cast Reprisal

    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Puncture
    cast Quick Strike

    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Precision Strike
    cast Keen Strike

Reason for the 3 macros instead of 1, is because sometimes I would have to spam the button before I could get a Quick Strike off and it got a bit annoying. This still saves a lot of keybinds and leaves room for everything else. In any case, everything is bound to my Naga so I don't have much trouble getting to the keys.

I tried a Foul Play, Disassemble macro, but it didn't do too well since disassemble doesn't do anything against mages.

The only reason I do not put Disengage into a separate macro with Reprisal is because I use it Disengage a lot when I am being jumped by the opposite faction. Plus I like building CPs at a rapid rate by spamming 1 button.

Ah ok, makes sense. I use Blinding Powder when I get jumped. =)
