    Default Blade Finesse possible change?

Would changing Blade Finesse from +damage% to auto-attacks to +attack speed% of the same percent be a better use for the skill.

This way, assuming poison (and possibly but not sure of NB) weapon enchantments do not have an ICD, they can proc more often without changing the damage of the skill itself. Would also make BD a more useful DPS tree since alot of its skills are based on the dodge factor.

    Thoughts?

Poisons/WEs do have an ICD, it's there so daggers don't become the defacto weapon of choice.

Making it and serrated blades proc off ranged attacks would be really nice.

I keep hearing otherwise from this forum. As in they function differently to trinkets.

this early in the tree would make it too strong for MM that also got 30% increased attack speed buff.

    MM/BD would become FotM.

Instead of Auto Attack, it should be "increases melee weapon damage" and perhaps scale it from 5 to 25%. This would make strike back 25% stronger and improve all attack skills aswell.

Or make it even more interesting by changing it to:
increases damage of all bladedancer skills by 3-15%

atleast then there would be a point in spending points in this.

Since there already is an increase Bladedancer ability skill in the tree, how about only increasing melee auto attack speed since it won't stack with MM skill?

I'm not spending 5 points on a talent that only affects auto-attack. Just not enough bang for the buck. I suggested in another thread that this should be reduced to a 3 point talent (3/6/10) and 1 point added to Turn the Tide to make it a max of 15% and add a new ability that removes exhaustion. So every so often, you could have 2 rhythmic abilities up at the same time. It would probably be OP, but it would be fun.

Another level to Vivacity would probably be better for us but is that asking too much? :P

Only Trion knows. Guess we'll see in the next patch. TBH, I expect them to buff us a bit, but I enjoy playing a rogue now and if no buffs come our way, I will still play it.

The only patch change that actually bothers me is the new sound affects for when you hit a target. It's awful. Sounds like I'm bouncing a basketball.

I rather like it for the simple fact that I notice it now.
