Default Are there any WF builds that work?

    Hey All,

50 Rogue here in a mix of T1 instance and PVP gear. I am prestige rank 2.. having a tough time in warfronts at the moment. No problem in open world pvp. I was using 44 nightblade 22 assassin, but I find it' pretty weak in all WF's..

Any ideas as to a good WF build for Rogues? Thanks.

You try 32 NB 32 Assassin?

    Fel blades, lethal poison

Bleed them and use the regular nightblade rotation.

I'm 48 and it works great, i'll get back to you when i hit 50 tho

    In before trolls!

Follow a tank as a heavy melee spec, or go max range with a mix of mm and your favorite. Bard will always be my choice in grouped-CQC.

In short,no. And it will get worse as you and your enemies move up in PVP rank.
    Why?
Because a lot of our Damage comes from Crits. Depending on our Build we got something like 25-40%Crit.

Now take a look at the PVP Souls:
Mage and Cleric Tier 1: 15% Reduction to getting a Crit. Hit
    Warrior Tier3: 20% Reduction....
Right now im running a NB/RS/Inf build and thx to that i only got 25% Crit.....(Full T2 or better,29,2 DPS Daggers,36DPS Gun,all runed with crit or dex)

That means i got a whopping 5%Crit chance vs a Warrior who has the Tier 3 Talent.
And what do we Rogues get? A 10% Boost in Crit DAMAGE at tier 3. Oh and the Tier 2 Talent only increases Phys damage, well thought out Trion with a Class like NB.

SO FECKING AWESOME,NOW THOSE 5% CRITS DO 10% MORE DAMAGE.

Sry,but i get the feeling they need someone new to do their balancing.

The pvp trees do more and more seem like a failed endeavor.

So true. But it seems noone else has a porblem with it, theres hardly any complains about the PVP souls here.

Short version: Not if you rely on Assassin's crit damage multiplier, there aren't. Reasons are stated above, and in fact any build that involves Assassin is pretty much crap in a warfront (though good 1v1).

Long version: Try a Bard, Ranger, or some Nightblade hybrid.
