    Default Pvp marks spec

Hello all. Had someone asking me what my build was for pvp and here it is.

Atm I am using http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0M....VhtzGog00s.xx since I do not have rank 4 yet.

This build has given me the most burst damage I can find out of a mm type build. It also has decent survivability with twilight shelter and on the double(lol punt move as well). You can also use twilight force as a snare, its only 20m though. Poping ebon fury and spamming twilight force when they are under 30% gives me more dmg than swift shot. Dusk to dawn is a fun root and does decent damage.

There is 3 weapon enchants you can use depending on the situation. Fell blades for the healing debuff which is huge imo. Cloudy poison for even more healing annoyances or for casters. Hellfire Blades is the third that you can possibly use for the +5% dmg buff.

Rotaion wise though all I do is spam swift shot for the heat retention dmg bonus. Using either deadeye shot or hasted shot depending on the circumstances. Also you have the lol 10% marks pedestal.

http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0M...zGog00s.xx0M0c is what I will end up using once I am rank 4. Really hoping anathema stacks with the healing debuff but I have yet to find out if they stack.

Looks interesting, but it would be hard for me to call that a MM spec. It looks like a NB spec that uses MM abillities to stay at range. Thats irrevelant though.

Have you tried picking up SoD and if so how does that work with it?

I briefly tried it and did not like it. My deadeye shot crits non plate for 1.8-2.1k so I would much rather use that.

SoD is nice to have if you dont need the burst you dont have to use it. It allows you to fit more damage into a shorter window though if you need more burst. Of course I havent tried your build you might not need it.

I think it is more of a play style thing. I don't like SoD but if you do its only 1 talent point to get it.

Right I agree I will probably try your spec out. My NB spec gets me killed a lot in Port Scion and I want a ranged DPS build for it. I have tried Sab but its much to easy/cheezy.

Forgot to mention you can also open with smother if you can start out in stealth. Its very situational though cause of how crappy the stealth is but you get a 20m range on it at least.

Another interesting build for PVP i used for awhile was
    http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0M...0bod0o.xMdV0oz

This build should give some reasonable dps to the ones attacking you with melee, and the Ranged you get from it will help you finish off people running away or scare off some rangers being annoying with kiting.

I for one didn't enjoy it nearly as much as the second build ill show you.

    http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0M...0s.GARfx0bod0R

With this you can stand up to marksmen and Melee fighters.

The trick with both builds is creative macro making, if i was still using these builds id just paste them in here but lately im trying out pure Nightblade builds at the moment.

Anyways good luck maybe ill do a much more detailed post another time.

I couldnt go 31 points into Nightblade and not move another point in to get the heal debuff, which is what I see in your second build.

MM an pvp. No matter how you twist it, it still sucks.
