    Default Constant Speed Increase?

Last night I saw a lvl 29 rogue outrun everyone in WFs. This was during combat too. He would run in, fire his weapon, throw an adhesive bomb but he never stopped running at great speeds even when someone fired back. Unless I am mistaken, I thought all great movement buffs were canceled when you entered combat.

This player was no issue for me or anyone. I sent my boar after him, and he was running so fast he outran his healers and was taken down quickly. But I just found it odd that his speed was constant. I don't want to accuse anyone of anything until I have all facts. Any idea on what spec he could have had to make that possible?

    Thank you.

like others have said marksman has a sprint at min 11 for 5 seconds at 70%, bladedancer has a sprint at min 11 for 15 seconds and bard at min lvl 21 can use anthem of competence for 20% speed boost all the time, so it possibly could well have been one or a combination of things.

Improved Swift Shot will give you up to 25% run speed for up to 10 seconds.
Hasted Shot gives a 30% run speed buff for up to 15 seconds.
On the Double gives a 70% run speed buff for 5 seconds.
Hasty Departure gives up to 20% run speed buff for up to 10 seconds.

I know at least some, if not all, of these stack. With the improved version of On the Double, you also get cc immunity for 5 seconds.

Plus, as has been said, the Bard's Improved Anthem of Competence grants a permanent 15% speed buff (in combat). I'm not sure if that stacks with the MM buffs.

The 'Improvement' for the Improved version grants the bonus in combat.

A bit higher in the tree you can make it in-combat too, and increase it to 20%.
