    Default rng/brd/sab pve

I've been playing rng/mm/sab up to 39 now, and have been loving it. Good grinding speed and excelent survival rate due to pet and pet healing.
Now however, I can't keep up healing my boar when there's more than one attacker and he ( and I ) dies more often. Though the instant resummoned pet can be a savior sometimes, it usually takes to long for him to regain agro.
I was thinking about trying a rng/brd/sab build. Bard for healing and buffs and Sab for adhesive bomb.
I was thinking along this line at 50:

What I want is to play ranged dps with pet, mostly for PvE (soloing / leveling atm).
Any comments or improvments? Will this keep my pet alive against multiple attackers, or will the healing abillities generate to much agro?

I am playing a ranger/bard/sin currently and am lvl 33. I never have problems with mobs. My pet can tank up to 4 at a time and I don't have to do too much. The key is bard healing.

    Here is my 33 build:

This is what I would do at lvl 39.

I got rid of my ranger pet, after lvl 30 it was becomming a liability as it would aggro all the mobs due to its low level.

In the end i went bard/riftstalker for the defense and heal bonus. plus riftstalker is great for getting out pvp gank stuns.

My bard can stand up fine to 3-5 mobs, and can solo those invasions easily.

i just put up virtuoso and spam bard AE.

    @Pitty
All fine having bard as main soul, I'm sure. It's just not what I want.
I like pet classes, and I'm sure you know that further spec in ranger gives tank pet that upgrades to level 50.

I like aoe, and ranger/mm (rain of arrows, trick shot + fan out) gives me that, but when pet dies before I can get down to one attacker, it's getting hard to survive. Soloing footholds can be very hard atm.
I will try the rng/brd/sab next I have the chance and post how it goes

    Thanks for input.

Okay, tried this spec today, and I'm very very happy about it
I can now fight elites my own level, and 4 like leveled mobs is not very dangerous.
Kill speed decreases the more mobs I fight (due to the need for keeping buffs up and spamming heal abilities), but it's still very satisfying.
Also if I agro a couple of mobs it's no danger, as the bard healing heals both me and pet.

Rotation at small fights ( one or two non elite mobs, even level ) :
Piercing shot -> Cadence -> Cadence -> Head Shot -> Quick Shot -> Cadence -> Head Shot (Almost always dead now) Both me and pet usually have full health.

Rotation at large fights (multiple mobs or single elite):
Pet Heal -> Motif of regen -> Buff motifs -> Same as above but reaply heals and buffs after each Head Shot.

I don't apply the buff motifs if it's not a tough fight.

Here's the spec I use now at level 39:

I wholehartly recomend this spec for anyone who want to play ranged dps with pet, it's a new world for me.

    Default rogue pve spec

Ive been using this spec since 33, when i put 26 in ranger, 4 in RS and rest in bard as i get more.

im 46 now and still i see this as best lvl pve spec, such as quests, elites, invaders and now with virtuoso will do it in dungeons aswell.

I play to kill as many mobs in each encounter as i can (max 6).
first hit all motifs, then Rejuvenate on pet.. send it on a mob, send on second mob, maybe have to put him on passive and help him come closer to 3rd to 6th(the hard part is to find places with melee mobs) as hes not able to charge entire zone. Keep spaming Rejuvenate on pet as you go, i usuly take 5 mobs and right before 5th mob put on all motifs and rejuvenate again... Ive also been using 70% faster run speed and collected all mobs myself with good result.
Then hit Divert Rage and Rain of Arrows, Rejuvenate and Rain of Arrows. Usuly mobs die here if not another round and if pet dies just spam rain of arrows(no idea to start insta summon him here do it after fight for faster second pull). Can even hit Riff and Coda of Restoration or Concussive Blast em as last part.

Rejuvenate or insta summon pet and motifs and your ready to rumble again.

Extremly effective method, safe and fun

If its a elite or single target mob i hit Splinter shot then just spam candence and finish with heal or coda of wrath and keep rejuvenate on pet all time on elites. and this is extreamly easy now with Virtuoso... Enough said
