    Default Rogue Crowd Control Inquiry

Have a brief question or two regarding CC options as the Rogue calling. Two skills that I found in particular are confusing me.

    http://rift.zam.com/en/ability/148091336/Lost-Hope

    http://rift.zam.com/en/ability/170383177/Incapacitate

I am going to have points in both Assassin and Nightblade, but the wording on these confuse me. When it says "Only 1 enemy can be incapacitated at a time." does that mean only 1 enemy per Rogue, or 1 enemy for this skill alone? In other words, if I get both of these hard CC abilities, can I CC two enemies at the same time?

Also looking for some other incap, stuns, and slows available to the Rogue calling.

1 enemy per rogue for that type of disable. E.g. you can blind one and "sap" one (incapacitate and lost hope are both "sap" type of disables - by analogy with WoW), but you can't sap two targets.

So if you have both, go ahead and replace incap with lost hope on your bar

Can you name any of the skills that cause Blind off the top of your head? Stuns/snares would also be nice. Trying to make an effective DPS build for dungeons so I can get away from my Bard play style some.

    NO.

Sorry but this is not correct. I have been playing with AS/NB build for a bit and was shocked that I can tap lost hope on one mob and go to the next and Incap that one as well. Thus you can sap/stun two mobs off the battlefield for 45sec. Now keep it quiet or else this will get fixed.

Well I don't see why it would even be considered an exploit if it is. Dominator can permanently shut down one target, and keep down 2-3 others for almost the same duration, all the while still having a AoE 30 second incap against entire packs in one soul.

Are you positive that the first ability does not wear off immediately when you use the 2nd one? If so, I apologize for misinformation.

yes sir. I routinely take those planar groups of 3 by sapping the two escorts and dpsing the "boss" down. And I don't think it is supposed to work like that, but it does and I can't complain - till they nerf it of course.

No they both work. You can sap 2 different targets at the same time, I was doing it yesterday.

It'd be pretty crappy if they DID change it. I mean, you spend the points in the tree... You should be able to keep and use the skills in each tree... Heck, we have the same skills all over our trees.

    This should never be changed.

There's that skill called "Blind" XD.

but it's only good for blinding adds cause it breaks on any damage at all... and most of the time ppl are AoEing all over the place and it doesn't work so well.

Blind powder is also much much shorter duration and not all that useful if you are just starting the fight. If you have it, Slip Away and sap one works much better.
