    Default Primalist Loot

    When 3.4 is released, how soon will we start seeing Primalist loot drop? Will it be added to T1/T2 raids initially? And what about open world/quest stuff? There will be very few raid ready Primalists on day one and even fewer T2 ready. Will the adjusted loot table go into effect on day one? That would really affect our raid comps considering we won't have any Primalists for awhile.

    Well, the big thing here is that there are 2h weapons because everything else already exists. We have added weapons to T1 and T2 as well as experts, store, and tradeskills. Runes and orbs have been updated/added to work with Primalist. All of these will be ready for day one Primalist.

    The much larger task that we've been hitting as they have been reported are quests reward packages that do not have a Primalist 2h weapon option. With as many quests that we have in-game, I can't say for certain that we'll get every single one of them. We'll try for sure but if I was a betting man, I'd say that we miss a few just out of sheer volume.

    I hate to bring up WoW but the stats should have been handled like their classes that share the same gear type.

    Example
    Rogues + Primalist = Leather
    Rogues primary stat is agility
    Primalist primary stat should be Strength

    Id rather fight over weapons with another class only really taking one of 2 slots (weapon or ranged/statstick) than fight over gear which takes up 6 slots of items that are material dependent.

    It's story of rogues, but as a class that's well known for playing cheap, it's just karma.

    Honestly, why are rogues getting shafted for Primalists in this update? Why not have gear that is leather but has Spell power. Now it's clearly a Primalist item. We already have an over abundance of rogues in the game, all vying for the same gear. Now there's an entire calling that will also want the same gear. Are rogues just not vocal enough? Imagine if they did this to warriors or mages....

    Sounds like late-start rogues will have such a hardtime to get their gears since there are now 2 callings sharing, previously rogue exclusive, gears... and people are mistaken, it isn't 6 pieces that's being shared... it's all 6 armor slots, 2x earring slots, 2x ring slots, neck slot, ranged slot and trinket slot... (plus seal and focus if they do drop from raid in the future).

    So not 6 slots that's being shared, it's actually a minimum of 13 slots.

    The thing is they say they are planing more new callings so the same will happen to all of the current ones. They should have the foresight to make gear fit and reduce the amount of multiple classes fighting over the same thing.

    That requires Trion to... make sense... At least only rogues will get screwed for at least a year or two. Remember it took 3 years to make a new calling.

    edit... also even tho dev said "to be fair" that primalist can use warrior weapon while using rogue for everything else... but bows and guns are not just stat-sticks for rogues, those are weapons... which is being shared by primalist as well.

    Only 6 of those are type dependent to leather. No matter what they make the primary stat ring/earring, neck, and trinket will be fought over by multiple classes. The only real way to fix it to be clear Primalist gear would be make the primary stat Str and the sub stat Sp.

    How is this any different than Rogues competing with, well... other Rogues?

    Rhetorical question, it's not.

    People are blowing something that isn't a big deal into something that is. Nothing new. Nothing to see here. Move along, folks.

    It doesn't matter, since rogues can steal warrior jewelries as well.

    I am talking about Best-In-Slots...

    Rogue gears are now "Best-In-Slots" in 13 slots for 2 callings, Rogue and Primalist. Get it?

    Are you for real? This only holds true if the 5 rogue raid slots are now forcibly split between 3/2 primalist/rogue... or 4/1 or 1/4 or 3/2 and so on.

    Do you not understand fundamental math? The number of Primalists does not mean it's taken from Rogues only.

    provided they can hit the mark on raising the gear droprate this would actually help rogues more than hurt would it not?

    That requires the assumption that they are only going to take the place of rogues and only rogues are trading in their toons for Primalists. My bet though would be most primalists are going to be Warriors tired of waiting for anything but Reaver being viable DPS. And if that is the case then ones taking the plate spot in the loot pool are now taking up an additional leather/agility slot.
