Need help for a solo levelling pve build

Ok so I started my first char as a mage. I've done the first few levels to get acquainted to the game and now I find myself in need for a good solid build which focuses on three main feature: survivability , dps , few downtimes

I know nothing of the various souls so i'm asking you to suggest me some solid build to level while soloing the game, no pvp or instances, just questing by myself without dying too much and doing some good dps.

My first choice has been ele/pyro but I read this is not a very good choice? :mefiant15:

As far as I read warlock/necro is the way while lvling?

I've found that the necro tree, with sub points in warlock is best for pve grinding, especially once you get Soul Purge (HP gain) and Feign Death (get out of bad pulls)
