I'm going to start out with Butchering/Outfitting/Runecraft. Butchering because I think the low level nodes will be highly fought over for the first few days, while nothing stops any number of people from powering up their butchering. Also, it provides raw leather to let me power up Outfitting, which I will then use to make items to tear apart to skill up Runecrafting. Once Runecrafting is high enough, I may drop Butchering and Outfitter and take up Mining and Artisan, not sure yet.

I will probably take up mining, foraging and artificer like i have done in the past few betas. It is nice to be able to make my own staves, and off-hand items, and wands not to mention necklaces and rings.

Presently, the Outfitting profession provides nice pre-quest/pre-dungeon/pre-rift gear every 5ish levels, up till you start using linen cloth (re: level 30ish). Once you start filling your bags with linen, you can forget using Outfitting for anything but Runebreaking food, because the linen items are basically trash. Someone made a thread about trying to give the linen items away for free circa last beta, but could not find any takers, the itemization and stat values were that poor.

I have confidence it will get better, but currently it is a bit less than stellar.
