Default What souls does the mage get total?

In the past two beta's i played my mage to 31 and ended up with Elementalist/ Pyromancer/ Dominator/ Chloromancer.

Do the mage's and all class's get the quest's to have access to all souls available or only a select few?

The way you got your 4th soul, is the way you get all of the other souls for your Mage.
Although the quest giver will be different.

*Edit* Just in case you dont get it.
Each Archetype; Warrior, Mage, Rogue, Cleric gets upto 9 souls each.
They all ahve access to the 9 souls for their calling.
A Mage cannot gether Warrior souls or vice versa.

All the quests for all the souls (except the PvP soul) are available at the College if you are Guardian, or in Meridian if you are Defiant. The NPC's are labeled with the soul quest they give, "Necromancer", "Warlock", etc.

You purchase the PvP soul with 2,500 Favor from the lowest level PvP gear vendor.

The quests are available at level 13.

Ok.... I think you need some explanations.

Go to your capital city and talk to NPC from your city that have soul quests. You will find them somewhere at city, they have a big green ! over their head.

You do the quest for gain a soul. Close a rift, use the device for get a soul at our plane, kill the soul in battle, then store soul at other device.

Go to main city, talk to NPC, complete teh quest, gain teh soul, then look for other NPC with soul quest at city (you can do only ONE soul quest each time).

You can complete all 8 souls at middle teen levels doing these quests.

For the PvP soul you just need gain PvP currency doing PvP and buy it for teh NPC PvP vendor.

I saw those quests but I thought you had to give up a soul to get the soul in the quest?

Nope, you don't need to give up a soul to gain an available soul.

No, you can get them all.

If you only have two get the quest for the next one you want in your third slot first. As soon as you complete the quest it adds it to your active role if there is a spot for it. Then just get the rest.

A source of confusion can be, that when you have one of the Soul Quests, the other specialists won't give you a new soul quest until you've completed the ones you have.

That is - you won't see their exclamation marks on the map at all and they won't have one over their heads and they won't talk to you, until you complete the Soul Quest you have at present.

Finish the quest... then they'll all want to give you their quests again.

As a mage, just go to the Quicksilver College in Argent Glade If you're guardian, (dunno about defiants but I'd guess it's in the capital city), there are npcs with 'warlock' 'necromancer' etc. under their names. All the quests are the same: Go to a rift and participate in it, you'll loot a planar shard eventually. You can only have one of the quests at a time, just go back to Quicksilver College each time you complete one of them, and repeat. Like mentioned above, the PvP soul 'Archmage' can be purchased from the PvP vendor in the capital cities and costs 2,500 Favor.
