    Necromancer (Using Void Bolt as Primary Bolt)

    Plague Bolt (both):
    Is a primary bolt so correctly gains stacks.

    Reaper's Touch (both):
    Consumes a single stack. (Should be none; it is a DoT)

    Soul Bond (both):
    Consumes two stacks of the Eternal. (Should be none)

    Condemn (both):
    Consumes a single stack. (Should be none; it is a DoT)

    Grave Rot (both):
    Consumes two stacks of the Eternal. (Should be none; it is a DoT?)

    Maybe if stuff only took one proc we might be able to compete on DPS.

    What makes you think DoTs aren't "Non Primary Bolt" abilities?

    The weapon itself states that it excludes DoTs and HoTs.

    This holds true: BL, WV, DT, Defile, Atrophy, all do not consume a stack.

    Legendary Neddra's Grasp is not applied through dark touch, kills the build because you need an extra GCD even though DT is supposed to apply automatically

    Hilariously enough DT does actually apply "Legendary Neddra's Grasp" it's just not a version of the spell that applies the debuff Lingering Torment. So it's useless, and you have to hard cast.

    That almost every ability consumes the eternal weapon stacks is a mess and should be resolved as quickly as possible!

    What surprises me with every new thing (legendarys, weapon procs, zone bosses for weapon item upgrade) these problems occur. Normally, an ability such as Internalize Charge or Charge Blade should be categorized as a buff and thus do not consume a stack. The database of Rift or the the algorithm which checks the dependencies of abilities seems to be very chaotic organized.

    thats insane, prob would have gone unnoticed for a very long time.

    an eternal which has a very low uptime compared to 100 stuff like prim, not even working half the time, just wow.

    on another note, should get some more mages to go over and comment on some of the new changes on the pts thread. primarily a legendary being buffed in pyro thats not even part of what are the must have legendaries. legendary flame volley.

    Hopefully the eternal actually gets fixed now. I've been sparsely reporting it since the week after the weapon was released and I noticed it. But now I've said it in discord and sent vlad a message here.

    im expecting that mage eternal to be fixed come wed. but i wont be surprised as to whats actually gonna happen.

    A: what gave you the impression that it will be fixed.

    B: by fixed do you mean that it will boost healing done or what is the "fix"

    what gave the the impression that it would be fixed? i dont know i think it being completely broken is a pretty good reason. but then again i dont spend time on discord so i dont know what the new rules are for fixing broken content.

    but like i said im not holding my breath.

    It won't get fixed because it's not Over Powered. Just broken/incomplete - everything will be balanced around it like all the laziest patch jobs. The 2 hours I spent testing every spell was completely wasted. Only going to maintain this thread so I have an active list of things to copy paste into discord.

    Well it took us like 8 months of daily discussion to get them to do anything about anything in 3.0

    They gave basically a single tweak to warlock to make it more or less raid worthy, and that's probably going to be all we get for the next few months.

    Feels like they'd sooner spend an hour tracking down a spelling mistake in flavor text than work on mages.
