    Default Mage Legendary & other ability Bugs

    There was a Primalist thread started on this to consolidate things, so we should start one here for mages.

    Legendary Fire Storm - Any damage bonuses that you have when you start this cast persist for the entire duration of Legendary Fire Storm. For example, if you cast the Elementalist's "Intensify Elements", then cast "Legendary Fire Storm", then cancel "Intensify Elements", the damage for Fire Storm stays the same until its duration ends.

    Legendary Internalize Charge - Arbiter's "Soothing Waters" consumes charge, but does not consume stacks of Internalize Charge.

    Soothing Waters - Can be spammed indefinitely when Legendary Internalize Charge is active.

    Nothing wrong with that imho, it's called snapshot and is very common not just in Rift but in a lot of other MMOs.

    It concern a lot of ability btw, but there's not a lot of damage ability with 30s duration. The problem concern the damage of L firestorm imo, an AoE skill that does more damage than all other monotarget spells is a nonsense.

    Another nonsense, L percing beam => 20% damage/heal on all (1point, 1L point, range), and normal percing beam 11% base + 6% damage slashing only (1 + 3point, melee).

    Legendary neural prod - Firestorm consumes stacks of the buff every time it causes damage even if it was cast prior to neural prod being cast.

    Piercing Beam says 20% gives 10% so 5 more %? That's rather weak isn't it?

    'twas the same with Rune of Agony in early Runeshaper testing. Never lasted more than week on PTS though. I wonder what changed since then.

    Piercing beam gives +5% damage to slashing attacks only. Intensity increases this bonus by 6% for a total of +11% to slashing attacks only.

    Legendary Piercing Beam gives +20% to all damage and all healing. 11 Harb/4 Arb is a strong offsoul combination for 61 point dps souls like Pyro and Warlock.

    My bad, I forgot that it counted the intensity in the tooltip, it is even worse

    Ok I understand that but the buff it gives when you look at your buffs says 10%.

    I think Firestorm and Neural Prod are working as intended.
    Fire Storm just may need a little nerf.

    Soothing Waters really needs to be hotfixed this week. I think it might be in the works as there's some stuff going on on the PTS.

    * Legendary Storm Slash no longer consumes charge twice while Charged Blade is active.
    * Legendary Storm Slash now affects the next 3 abilities.
    * Legendary Piercing Beam now increases damage and healing by 20% and lasts 30s.
    * Legendary Empyrean Ascension also passively causes slashing attacks to deal 50% more damage and spells with cast times to deal 30% more damage.
    * Legendary Vengeful Shock damage increased by roughly 150%. Tooltip clarified to show it always strikes twice.
    * Charged Blade damage bonus increased to 30% for slashing and 10% for all other abilities.

    Yup the buff tooltip is wrong. Does what it says though. At least damage wise.

    Elementalist.
    Legendary Prismatic Volley,
    Don't know if its intended, when you clip the channel, you do not get the +40% damage buff for 20sec even when you had all elemental cycles before cast.

    Legendary Void Barrage (Warlock) doesn't apply any instance of Neddra's Grasp, even if you took Healing Expertise as your Level 62 Mastery (which makes Dark Touch apply Life Leech and (Legendary) Neddra's Grasp [if known to the mage].
    Casting Dark Touch manually leads to Neddra's Grasp being applied.
    It just doesn't work with Legendary Void Barrage, even though it "casts" Dark Touch at the enemy.

    -pls fix

    Not really a bug per say but with Legendary Conflux if you refresh life leech with the passive in the warlock tree it consumes a stack of it. This hurts lock DPS as legendary conflux is a huge DPS gain. A toggle to turn it on off would be useful now.
