    1400 rating for every calling.

if you have a charred flamesource, a buff from a feast, and a crit power banner, you want to get as close to 1194 crit power rating as possible.

Is it worth getting spell crit on any items to complement stacking crit power? ATM i'm just stacking spell crit, and then just spellpower on the rest of my items totally ignoring spell crit.

900ish crit power atm raid buffed. (Full T1 gear, 1 T2 set item, 1 T2 accessory, no greaters)

spell crit is generally around .3 for any mage soul as a stat weight. cp is usually somewhere between .6-.8 depending on your spec, and sp is usually 1.

So no SC at this time is not really wroth it.

There's a SC heavy Torvan lesser that upgrades to a greater with a SP proc that's arguably 2nd BiS greater behind the CP + CP Proc greater. Do note that the Deepstone lesser is actually pretty terrible and that it's only the SP proc that the greater gives that makes it any good.

I have no arguments about that.

Does anyone know the current soft cap for spell crit? Is it still possible to hit 40% unbuffed?

I don't think any combination of existing gear can grant that much crit rating, even with the 25% int from chloro.

Which is why the current ratio for crit needs to be addressed.

Before 1.9 hit rift everyone was getting up to 50%.
Then SL came with 10 more level, we are gaining that crit back slowly as CP it better to go for.

Back in the day you would get to the solf cap of 45% which was easy for Mages and Rouges cus how crit was based off intell and dex, which was 7.5% of it, then you stacked SP/AP.

The normal way of increasing dps now it to stack SP/AP & CP, then once your CP it at 1196 you stack even more SP/AP keeping CP where it is.

I miss the old defilemancer and it's roughly 86% crit rating.
