    Default Necromancer Chattering Bones

I originally posted this in Newcomers, but this seems the more appropriate forum.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Chattering Bones (Rank 3/3):
Your pet's Bone Shatter ability now reduces the pet's incoming damage by 6% per enemy hit.

    Bone Shatter (Skeletal Knight):
Consumes a stack of Deathly Calling from up to 5 nearby enemies, forcing each to attack the skeleton for 3s.

    Grave Rot:
Applies Deathly Calling to up to 8 enemies in the target area.

    Question:
Grave Rot is used to hit 5 to 8 enemies with Deathly Calling. The Skeletal Knight is sent in and uses Bone Shatter. Does Chattering Bones for the Skeletal Knight then reduce incoming damage by (5 X 6% = 30%)?

    Follow up question:
Does Chattering Bones reset with each Bone Shatter (probably yes)? But, if a Chattering Bones enemy is vanquished then does the incoming damage increase by 6%, making the incoming damage reduction very dynamic (I do not think the game mechanics would be that complicated, so probably no)?

    Thanks

    A more specific question:
The combatlog.txt has at the beginning of a battle [Combat begins] and continues through to [Combat ends]. Between [Combat begins] and [Combat ends] there can be many individual battles. Does the first Bone Shatter after [Combat begins] set the incoming damage reduction until [Combat ends], making the first cast of Grave Rot the most important?
