Default How do these heals compare?

    Tank healing: Bloom versus LBV+NT

    Raid healing: Flourish versus LGV+NT

I got the 4-piece bonus, a few days ago, which is why I'm interested in the data. Does the former or latter heal more for each situation?

This makes it seems like LGV/LBV+NT is the clear winner.

Nature's Touch has travel time whereas Bloom, Flourish, and Essence Surge are instant.

    This.

Though you can time Nature's Touch for spike heals (takes a bit of familiarity with outgoing damage in a given encounter). Bear in mind that LGV heals will only affect 5 party/raid members, while Flourish hits 10 people.

My crit blooms are about 5k (one time a 7k on a cleric) versus crit NTs I've seen go 11-12 K depending much on how low the tank is. A well timed NT is quite strong, but sometimes you have to bloom to keep them alive for the travel time.

Flourish is a stronger raid heal, but a crystaled NT is like a mini flourish if there's low travel time or you time it well. Browns is right about 5 people / 10 people, and one more consideration is LGV heals have a longer range than flourish, I think its 35 meters vs 25 meters.

You're comparing LGV to LBV t determine the effective strength of the heal?
    That's...weird.

FOrone, the function of LBV/LGV while similar, have different purposes and bonus' assosciated with them.
You can't compare the two and ask which gives stronger healing because it completely lacks a context in which to examine the ability.

If you are asking about burst healing upon a raid, you can very easily line up Vile spores~~>NT~~>Flourish for power raid healing. I is not DoL but its very effective when timed appropriately.
Of course if it is raid healing, chlorolock/pyrochloro are better for overall raid healing, though IMO, 51 chloro does have stronger burst raid healing due to the 4 pc HK set. (which needs to be tuned since it isn't a good crystal)

If you are speaking in regards to tank healing, Brown's statement fits more.
You pop NT then pop a Flourish (though it would be bloom if we are talking single target).
That way, there is more healing within the time period.

Ultimately, it depends on how well you time your abilities.

I mostly tank heal and I never use bloom when I can VL or NT, unless I need to keep 2 tanks up (10mans) in which case I use it on the OT. Bloom is mainly used on myself or other non-tanks or when I need to move and don't have an instant NT.

When raid healing, if you can't time your casts to land right after raid dmg goes out, flourish can be superior largely due to it hitting more people.

I vote that all Harbinger/X hybrids be referred to as XBinger in future.

We've been given an amazing name, we can't waste it on HarbX etc.
Plus, half of them would end up being Harbomancer..
    Nope.

They must all end with binge, we are going on binges!

    Pyro-binge, War-binge, Defile-binge, Chloro-binge, Storm-binge, Ele-binge, Necro-binge, Arch-binge...

"Dude, I just went on a wicked pyro binge!"

I can't pass up on Harbinator. 'Dombinger' sounds like the surname of some old, unmarried landlady at a dilapidated former council house in the East End. And let's not even think about the possibilities of "Elebinger" or "Necrobinger".
