    Default Raised in Nature not working at all? (confused)

    I know this used to give me around 1k health, and I have better gear these days.
    I have 3/3 points in Raised in Nature.
    I was just trying to work out if it was better to lose 20 int and gain direct spell power instead (pvp over pve weapon).
    So I take off items of armour / weapons and calculate..
    examples:
    Chest: 31end 34int
    31end = 279 health
    34int = X health from Raised in Nature?
    My health drops by 279 removing it.

    Staff: 34end 84int
    34end = 306 health
    84int = X health from Raised in Nature?
    My health drops by 306 removing it.

    I tried with various armour/trinket/weapons, all the same effect in that the +Int from it adds exactly 0 health.

    It reads:
    "Increases your Endurance by 21% of your equipment modified Intelligence"

    Am I missing something here?!

    The amount of endurance you gain is not continuously recalculated, but rather only when you switch specs, zone, etc.

    Oh thank you, I didn't know that. Funny how you can play for almost a year and still be learning stuff.

    So I could put my High +Int PvE gear on, enter zone, then switch to me lower +Int PvP gear and keep the health, awesome I'll try that.

    I think they made mounting recalculate it as well, to avoid situations like that.

    I just ran into this bug while gearing up a mage tank for prince.

    My guess would be that Raised in Nature is basically treated as a hidden buff to endurance which is only recalculated when it is reapplied (on spec change, login, and presumably after being rezzed, entering zone, etc.) Mounting didn't seem to make a difference. Nor did entering/leaving combat (w a combat dummy).

    E.g. a macro like this would take advantage of the bug:
    Code:
    loadequip 1 //High intel gear
    role 6 // chloro spec w raised in nature
    wait 2
    loadequip 7 //high endurance gear
    The above made a different of about 300 hp from my regular (high intel) to mage tank (high endurance) gear.

    Not a 'bug', as it's working as intended.

    Your macro is about all you can do these days. Before you could proc NA with another chloro spec, then switch to your tanking spec and get a few hundred hp extra that way as well.

    I see a similar benefit between r6 PvP gear and full HK gear (which has much more Int)
    It comes out at a little over 300hp more. I'll take anything I can get..
