Default Stormcaller/Pyro rotation and general questions

OK. I have recently started playing Sc/Pyro in pvp and am loving it. I don't know if I'm doing it right or not though. I will open with either one of the two electrocute abilities to get my stacks, or use the regular one stack cast if the others are on cd. After that I'll ice shear the use the ice blast proc then just spam the waterblast attack then rinse repeat. Is that how a typical rotation should go for that build? Also pve side note can anyone link a stormcaller build I can use in dungeons and raiding because I'm bored of Pyro/lock. Thanks guys!

With pyro in the tree you want to have Flame Bolt in your rotation.

    Ele x3

Ice Shear > Flame Bolt > Icicle > Cloudburst until just before stacks of electrify drop > Thunderbolt to refresh stacks - Repeat

OK that's what I was doing. Is there a way to macro flamebolt with icicle?

If you don't pick up the point in improved lightning field then you can spam that for aoe. It does not remove electrify stacks.

I would suggest tossing out flamebolt first as it is a buff to everything.
By the time you toss out your icicle you'll still have the damage boost.
By then yo can toss out a cloudburst 2x then toss out a lightning field to proc icicle.

If you use the already stated rotation:
    elex3 > Ice Shear > Flame Bolt> Icicle> CB
You can macro CB with a 'cast [notactive] Static Flux' command and you'll already have enough charge to spam CB until its time to refresh electrify, with surplus if a chloro or bard is reducing your charge consumption. Probably not as efficient as controlling your charge consumer consciously but I'm lazy.

Cloudburst does more damage than Ice Shear, so using Flamebolt first is a dps loss.

Electrify to 3x stacks =3 seconds. Icicle proc occurs as soon as the ability is used. Sconds remaining for proc=6
    ice shear= 5 seconds
flamebolt=4 seconds 10 second count down begins on buff
icicle= proc used 3 seconds before you can cause another proc
cloudburst= 3x so you have 6 seconds of flamebolt
lightning field to force the icicle proc and then you fire off another thunderbolt/forked lightning. 3 seconds left on flamebolt.

I think its just easier to cast flamebolt from the beginning because you don't need to worry about balancing the timing for your icicle procs + flamebolt buff+lightning stacks.
That's just how I view it IMO. Ultimately its simple in the end.

    Solid reasoning and explanation. Thanks.
