Default 51 Pyro 15 Lock or 35 Pyro 31 Lock?

35 pyro 31 lock I came up with:

Speaking in PvP terms here, don't care about pve dps. any opinions on which is better for PvP? So far I've had the most luck with Pyro/Dom. However Pyrolock will do better if people are immune to squirrel which is becoming pretty common with all the other doms out there.

    I'd take a 51 / 15 over what you listed, though I do like a 38 / 28 pyrolock for pvp myself.

Considering it is a pvp build I think you made weird choices in the build listed.

I avoid lock in my 51 pyro build.

    8 elem, 7 archon
archon shield (@1200 hps) (heatwave resets this)
    mana regen from crits
    5% crit
    ignite
    little dmg reduction
and an annoying pet to "fire and forget" on a healer

    15 lock grants
    charge boost
    opp procs
    health
    (maybe draining bolt)

You say tomatooo, I say tomaaato. Whatever works best for you is what it comes down to. I've just found this setup seems to have better potential and synergy. Try to save heatwave for defenses. Flicker, heatwave, flicker can get you out of a TON of bad situations. I've noticed the more I reserve heatwave for defense, the better I end up doing.
But at least we can get married now!

    I'd recommend this:

    http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0z...m0qz.xx0Akoqxo

Basically you are going to be running most of the time. Countdown->Flame Bolt->Dark Touch->Searing Vitality-> Neddra's Grasp->Fireball (or withering)->[IC] Draining Bolt->[IC] Dark Fury->[IC] Inferno (use opp procs to cast Cinder Burst/Fireball as they come)

Prior to the glyph of power buff, I'd recommend running the Dissb version (38 lock), but it's so hard to pass up on +15% damage.

Thanks for the feedback. I never looked at ele or archon for pvp builds since they aren't really viable pvp souls. But they do make good support souls.
