    Default Archon buffs & debuffs

    I know I've seen it somewhere but for the life of me I can't find it now.

    I was wondering which Archon buffs and debuffs stack with other toons?

    If there is a list somewhere I love to be pointed to it.

    Nothing I hate as a Archon is to see buffs vanish. Or to try and fight someone else for a buff or debuff.

    It wastes my time are theirs and costs the raid dps when I'm putting a buff or debuff up instead of casting other things.

    One I could remember is only spotters-coda-illuminate triad, they don't stack, so if you have bard or warrior discuss that with them. Coda lasts longer however.
    All other buffs and debuffs except flowing sand are mandatory to maintain for both your survival and raid boost.

    Power drain is ogcd debuff and thus procks purpose.
    Spam it during rebuff so you won't lose dps.

    Basically archons have preference for everything except illuminate. If someone else is overwriting your debuffs/auras, they're doing it wrong.

    Something that can help you and others keep better track of buffs is karuul alert. There might be something better but this gets the job done for me.

    You can set it up in a way to track all the major debuffs for your raid so you know if all 6 debuff categories are up and which skill is currently on target. For instance coda of jeopardy and illuminate don't stack but when you set up karuul alert to track them you will know which is up and how much time is left.

    Takes some time to set up but is very convenient. Use the above links for set up or if I remember I will link a string you can import into karuul that is already set up...posting from phone

    Btw....why is illuminate so stupid?

    What's wrong with it? I can't see any difference in power between it and the bard version (but ours is instant while the bard one requires the bard to have full combo points, right?). What am I missing here??

    There is only one small difference between Illuminate and Coda of Jeopardy: the latter lasts 10 second longer.

    10 seconds?

    If I do recall correctly....CoJ lasts 40 more seconds than Illuminate.

    Everything an archon uses to debuff lasts 4 minutes.

    It is nit picking but 20 seconds is ridiculous for our debuff.

    Instant cast, with no cooldown. That is the tradeoff. And it's a pretty good one. It also doesn't seem to cause any threat on cast, meaning you can use it as soon as the tank pulls. Given everything else we have to manage, I'd say this is a pretty good ability.

    During HK raids, it is better for the bard to use Jeopardy on trash OR bosses, or is it better for Archon's to throw illuminate on both?

    I'd do trash (normal trash, and boss adds), and our bard, bosses. On Aky, I'd do stingers only.
