    Default Dominator/Chloromancer/Archmage macro's

I just rolled the domi/chloro/AM spec to maximize the fun while killing players. I saw a guy killing decent opponents with it and it impressed me.

He told me there are a lot of macro's to be used in this spec for debuffing, and filling up dps when the burst is on CD.

I have no idea how to write macro's so I'd feel great if anyone could post me some useful macro's for this spec

    cheers

I've played Domi/chloro for a long time, and honestly its in your best interest to not macro like a madman. Spells are way to situational to be put into macro.

That being said here are the macro's I use.

    #show mana wrench
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast lifegiving veil
    cast mana wrench

    #show traitorous influence
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast lifegiving veil
    cast traitorous influence

    #show Deny
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Deny
    cast Nature's Cleansing

You could also make a macro with TI > Shackles > Haunting Pain for after a squirrel and burying your best damaging spells so they can't get cleansed. I just do it manually, but if it works for you go for it.

I agree w/ Calibix, it is best not to Macro too much w/ Dom/Chloro.

With that said, I have macroed a bit and am slowly getting away from macro's on this build strictly to my lack of dexterity.

    Basic Damage
    #show Nature's Fury
    Suppressmacrofailures
    cast Nature's Fury
    Cast Ruin
    cast Void Shroud
    Cast Vile Spores
    Cast Neural Prod
    cast break free

Void Shroud may not need to be in this rotation, but my thoughts are that if I am trying to kill someone, they are going to get heals in PvP, even if it is just splash heals. Neural Prod is in there if I am moving. I thought I may want break free by itself, but so far it has worked out.

    Self Healing
    #show Bloom
    Suppressmacrofailures
    cast Flourish
    cast @ self Bloom
    cast @ self Essence Surge
    Cast Break Free
The casts at self make sure you do not lose target. I also have these on their own buttons for healing others.

    AoE Debuff
    #show Traitorous Influence
    Suppressmacrofailures
    cast traitorous Influence
    cast incompetence
    cast radiant spores

    Mana Drain
    #show Transference
    Suppressmacrofailures
    Cast transference
    cast traitorous influence
    cast mana wrench

The addition of lifegiving veil will proc Natural Awareness OGCD and add 5% to your int to make Mana Wrench and TI drain for more.

Again, it would be best not to have these macroed. But, if you do need to Macro, these have worked for me.

I agree with Calibix. I dont macro much with Dom/Chloro because I want as much control as I can have. Macros take that away.

Only things I macro with dom/chloro are my cleanses and some chloro spells that have already been posted.

    My Chloro macro is:

    #show nature's fury
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast ruin
    cast nature's fury
    cast vile spores

Thats it. I really need to have abilities easily accessible when playing this spec. When you macro, you lose that control.

When Mental Shock gets fixed I'll probably drop NT and finish out Swift Control unless Priest's Lament actually becomes worthwhile (unlikely, especially if Arresting Presence gets fixed when Mental Shock does) to end up with 38/18/10.

    Default Melee CC

Any suggestions for melee CC, from do's and don'ts and/or macros?

as much as this would be a wonderful idea, mages have to many damn spells to have hotkeys for all of them, plus certain duplicates are just more efficient on macros such as the deny/nature's cleanse spells. Though mages are no where near as bad about macroing as the other three classes.
