    Default Sourcestone runner build

I been contemplating a good build to run sourcestones for mages,.. my first thoughts are you would need Tail wind from SC, Flicker from Pyro and maybe then arch or chloro,.. any ideas or suggestions from other mages that have created a really good Stone runner spec?

    I'd go SC/pyro/dom.

Dom's good for the isntant snares/cc's, and split personality makes the big beam on you disappear. It did me well when I was playing with it on whitefall.

interesting,. so just high enough in SC for Tailwind, then just high enough in pyro for flicker, then dump the rest into dom,.. hmm...

    I used something like this.

    http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=1z...hbz.efubuzo0zc

    survivability: splits, reflect, flicker, deny

    stuns: backdraft, burning bonds, squirrel

+ disarm, grasping void, arresting presence, etc etc.

You can alternate transmorgify as a root on multiple people. Grasping void is an aoe root. Ill use split personality + flicker at the same time for a getaway. For building charge transference is good, its also effective at reducing melee dmg on yourself.

if youve got a largely caster based group chasing you then reflective presence is as good as it gets.

For a full snare you can use storm shackle + deaths edict.

The problem with Mage shard-runners is we have no immunities. Immunities is how you break through the big pack in the middle. Rogues will pop their run speed, teleport a couple times, and have their immunity up so no one can do a thing to them.

yeah I tested that build out and it is fast, but it's also got no heals at all so couple hits and I was dead instantly, no way to survive.

Used this to get the 100 stone achievement in WF:

    http://forums.riftgame.com/rift-gene...lf-buffed.html

Massive HP, Wild Abandon, Self Heals, AoE Fear, Warlock Armor.

You're not going to be as fast as other specs but it is by far the best survivability, and most likely to get you back to some team mates before you die.
