    Default "Mortality" why even bother. pvp

    We are meant to use this when under extreme stress, when you have more then 2 players hitting us, it is mean to buy time so we can get healed or kill them, so why is it so worthless?


    1: well, its too slow, it does not give health when clicked in takes 1.5 sec before you get any health.
    2: it can be interupted by any instant spell interupt, any knockback or stun even a stone thrown at you will interupt this spell.

    the it takes up way to much charge, heals for too little, the damage is to low for it, even the cooldown is too long, its a worthless pvp skill
    i7 2600k @5.6 1.45v load line extreme

    crucial SSD 355 mbs read 70/write
    samsung 2tb hdd
    2x Hd5970 toxic 1000/1200 (only 2 gpu in use for rift)

    It's far from useless, i've seen a few people go from low to very high in mere seconds, it depends on the group your facing and what their cd is on also.

    Situational spell is situational.

    I've had luck with it occasionally with Corrosion already going and popping it. Sometimes the melees on you freak and scatter. Sometimes they stand there and pick their noses and let your health fill up as theirs drops.

    Most of the time, though... Yes, it seems pretty worthless in PvP. Burns charge. Significant cooldown. Almost instantly interrupted.

    Great for AoE farming spellspun, though.

    Yeah, it's one of those spells you pop and hope to god the melees around you don't realize you popped it. Try distracting them first with another AoE like Corrosion first. Sometimes you get lucky when surrounded by morons, but mostly you don't.

    But yeah, primarily this one is best used for PvE farming.

    The ludicrous thing about PVP is... besides totally broken DRs, I can get chain interrupted, while melees (*trooolooolool, we have to close the distance*) face nothing of that sort of BS.

    It is pretty worthless now it seems. I'd say make it uninterruptable and make us cc immune during it, or just adjust when we get the first tick and how much it heals for.

    remove the 1 second delay from the 1st tick.

    It would be kinda strong if it was not interruptable, therefore I think they should change what a few people here pointed out already: make the first tick land immediately, rather than after like 1,5 second. Then at least it always has an effect.

    you know what. let us cast soul purge on the move and i will be happy to have mortality the way it is.

    too strong? meaning that when we cast it people wont just move out the way /treololol us and run in for the kill?

    It's useful, but 9 times out of 10 it will get interrupted and, if you're in the position of having to use Mortality, you're probably about to die.

    It's better than not doing anything and just taking it, though.

    Should scrap Phase Shift, and combine mortality and Phase Shift, and replace PS altogether.

    This. If mortality was uninterruptible, but we still had to stand in one place to use it, it would be a good "get away from me". It's not hard to get out of its radius once you see it pop.
