    Default Necro pet Burning out

My Necro Summoned: Skeletal Knight has something on him called Burning out. Incoming damage to him increased times 25% stacked x's 14. What is this and how do i get rid of it , I can't even use the pet it dies almost immediately now on 1 mob.

    help please..

That is the debuff the dragon motes get to prevent them from sticking around forever.

Not sure why it's on the necro pets. An odd snippet of code misplaced, I would imagine.

Me - 3 - my elemental pet rock took on that "Burning Out", but none of my others (water & air) pets did. Apparently it has a change to get the buff when messing with one of those motes.

    "Burning Out
Spending time on Telara reduces the Mote's Defenses, increasing incoming damage by 25% per stack."

I have sent the info to both CM (not that they would do anything) and a Bug Report.

It began happening Saturday 08.13.11. I had to give up playing since my sc/ele needs the tank pet mostly for the elites.

    Hope they fix it ASAP.

I'm waiting till it will spread from pet to owners, that will be amazing.

    Or, pets to (raid) mobs.

It's a bug. It seems the debuff from the dragon motes sometimes sticks to the pets, for some wierd reason.

Adding a signature and bump for this problem. Took me a little bit to figure out why he was being so squishy :P

Strangely, my Knight has 6 stacks of the Mote's "Burning Out" ...but my Zealot hasn't gotten it yet.

My Skeletal Knight picked this up (luckily just a 2-stack) a few days ago. Having it killed didn't clear the "buff." Luckily for me, I was still leveling, and gaining a new rank of the skill got me a fresh, unmolested Knight. I now dismiss my pet before handling motes.

Unfortunately my Elementalist pets also have gained this buff, which makes any build that includes Intensify Elements a nightmare to use...

Hopefully we'll see a hotfix for this soon.
