    Default where's our immune to physical?

    rogues and warriors have builds and skills which offer IMMUNITY TO OUR ONLY FORM OF DMG

    so um..

    wheres our immunity to physical dmg?

    You are going to get the classic argument to that:

    Range is mage "immunity" to physical damage.
    Cataclysm broke WoW, but resilience will fix it!

    very fail argument considering every spec that a warrior or rogue has, also has some form of range that still hits pretty hard.

    but srsly..

    not only do they become immune to our damage but also immune to our cc effects...

    now thats dmg down time on top of us being stunned, and cc down time in addition to the 5 seconds after using break free..

    our closest comparable build is a warlock with a general 80% dmg reduction..

    but we're still cc'able in that small time frame and will receive plenty of debuffs



    why cant we have a class with a temporary immunity to physical attacks?

    Why don't mages get melee interrupts since everyone gets to interrupt them?

    Furthermore why does only one of our specs (which is now useless in PvP) gets disarm which doesn't fully stop a melee opponent from doing damage anyways, whereas silences are quite common and totally shut us down. OH and can I get a melee attack reflect to balance all the spell reflects flying around.

    Also I would like to know where our uncleansable 50% healing debuff on crit (that is spread on AOE) is and without being greedy just wondering why our only healing debuff in a semi offensive soul is 30% (the 50% one is in a support soul).

    But it's okay right, we have range afterall, the advantage that is totally meaningless to a stealthed rogue or a warrior that is GCD charge away or a ranged rogue that does more dmg than us and has longer range as well as better kiting ability.

    The immunity DR changes made any kiting impossible.. now we have to stand toe to toe while trying to cast long cast interruptable spells and tank in cloth and die or we can run, get laughed at while we're getting pummeled and they are keeping up while we are trying hoplessly to kite and spamming our instants which tickle... and die, or blow our once in 3 minute cooldowns to survive for a few seconds every 3 minutes ... and possibly get it dispelled .. and die again

    But everyone loves to complain about PvP anyways, we're not THAT bad off in PvP... we just don't have a proper damage/burst spec. It's either go support (dominator) or survivability and do pretty subpar damage (no inflated AOE numbers don't count as that is easily negated even by a bard) and doesn't kill anyone with heals.
