    Default Two Chloro Question

    Hey Mages,

When the group has two chloros, (one raid healing, the other tank healing) whose spores should be active?

    Or, does it even matter?

Should not matter at all, but if you are going for maximum effiency(sp) then on AoE intense fights have the tank healer do it, on tank damage heavy fights have the raid healer keep it up. What this will do is save a gcd on the one that needs to be casting more to keep someone up. If that makes sense to you. Maybe someone with more raid experiance than I could help you out with a different method or explain better. However it should not matter because if that one gcd was needed that badly then something was going wrong in most cases.

1 radiant spores is also you need. 51/something chloro with synthesis on tank, ideally 36/30 chlorolock with LGV up for group healing. Job done.

To clarify, you can only have one spore active... so it isn't a matter of how many, but rather whose.

So if I understand the other posters, it is situational at best? Seems to make sense... though wouldn't the tank healer spores be the "default" action, as with a competent tank he is sponging up the damage?

Yes you're right. Tank healed with synthesis on tank and spores up. Aoe healer can then concentrate on keeping the group up while also supporting the tank healer. They can then decide who will debuff and such depending on the situation.
