    Default Lightning Storm in Sc/Ele STdps Rotations

    Raging Storm - 148 Air damage over 3 seconds and applying an Electrified effect each second, lasting 15 seconds.

    Lightning Storm - 471 Air damage to up to 10 enemies over 6 seconds and adds an Electrified effect each second, lasting 15 seconds


    Even if we cut Lightning Storm off half way at 3 secs , it still is 235.5.
    Granted that it does seem to over-complicate things a little with the already complicated BS/AB rotations and now with this aiming of the AOE.
    There's also enough situations where the boss is stationary / doesn't move enough to go out of the big AOE radius.

    was there a reason why ppl don't include this in their ST rotations ?

    my bad, got it wrong

    Lightning Storm is actually 630 over 6 secs
    and
    Raging storm is 367 over 3 secs

    so that does make raging storm better

    These numbers are just base damage. You need to factor in coefficients and talents which are more important actually.

    You use raging storm because it benefits from the damage increase from hypothermia. You use raging storm in the building storm rotation.

    Last time I checked, lightning storm does not benefit from hypothermia effects.

    what about Electrocute in between your Raging Storm cooldowns?

    Does a fully channeled Electrocute provide more dps than CB/LS filler?

    (It also benefits from Hypo)
