    Or witchstones in general.
Anybody got any proc rates on these yet?

Often, not sure about a specific proc-rate percent, but as a chloro/lock, I was doing about 620 DPS on Warmaster Galenir, and it accounted for roughly 6% of my overall DPS, and 7% on my Hylas attempts.

So often enough to be worth applying whenever you can! Although I do miss what it used to be (since it now deals "physical" damage, and no longer increases my life crits by 15%, meaning I don't get any realistic healing out of it, it's just a DPS booster.)

It's complete crap compared to what melee get for 1handers. Dmg bonus needs to be doubled (at the very least) or procrate needs to be 100% for it to be decent.

Still worth using if you have a staff, a small amount of free DPS is better than nothing.

    Seems to be between 5-10%.

Arguable depending on the cost to make em.

Incredibly inexpensive if you have your guild work together to get the mats. Adding 6-7% to my DPS is worth the few minutes of crafting, and the relatively cheap mats on the auction house, if I can't skin my own mobs and have no guild members helping out.

Perhaps it's more expensive on your server?

Proc rate around 5%, well worth using.

usually adds anywhere from 15-30 dps so ~1-2% dps at most at the high end, considering the cost of the mats and trouble of making them they are not worth the effort imo.

I'll get a parse going and link an image tonight or tomorrow showing that it does more. If it's doing so little, it makes me think you don't crit very often. I generally have a 55% or so crit rate, and it does a much larger percentage of my DPS. It's substantial enough that if you have access to them, they're absolutely worth using.

Definitely not as good as they used to be, however. 15% increased crit damage was amazing, and will be missed.

That sounds a bit more realistic. According to the 6% it had done on my 620 DPS as a chloromancer, that would mean about 38 DPS. I guess that BaronT is right regarding the higher end DPS, though, with it probably amounting to only 1-2%, but I think even on my 33/33 necro/lock it was doing about 4% with 1200 DPS, then again that's obviously skewed due to my pet's DPS being added in, where my personal DPS was more like 900.

    Point taken! =)

    Still, however, worth it.

That's still less than half what rogues and warriors get out of the 1handed melee versions.
