    Default New Chloro needs help - desperately

    Hi

    I'm a new lvl 50 mage and lvled with necro/lock and know how to use the build well etc, but I decided that I want to heal for instances as chloro/lock.

    This is the build I'm using: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=1z...hckoo.xx0G0VVx

    Now we were doing t1 iron tombs and I managed to heal the trash okishly and the spider boss - however I also had a bard healing, so I don't know how much of the healing was me or if I was doing well... When we hit the ghoul we started to wipe however... It was as if I wasn't healing enough to keep the tank alive and then mixed in with a silence/disorientate or two (I managed to miss the bulk on our second try)

    The rotation I used was Radiant spores, vile spores, withering vines, then spam nature's touch and ruin. I'd then keep refreshing the 3 dots and spam my nature's touch/ruin macro where possible - but that wasn't enough. I freaked out and cast bloom when I could, I cast stream of reclimation (I think I forgot entropicl veil) and I threw Natural Conversion and the tank still died at about 50% of the Ghoul's hp...

    Am I not doing enough damage because I'm focussing on keeping up the dots too much? am I casting Nature's touch and ruin to sparsely? Do I just suck as a healer? or was it something the tank was doing wrong and I wasn't totally screwing up?

    Really need help coz I feel like I'm epic fail at healing ><;

    If you're tank healing, you should be 51 Chloro. No exceptions.

    Not using Entropic Veil or Void Life? Expect the tank to die.

    This and...

    You are talking about the boss that reduces your damage output as the fight progresses, if your group is failing to DPS the boss in an efficient manner eventually you will be unable to nuke-heal the tank.
