    Default I'm a Survivor

    I'm looking for advice on a survivable support build for pvp. I want to support/annoy/survive and generally help the team. I was thinking something like Dom/Chloro/Lock but would love to hear your builds and pvp stories about being a survivable support mage.

    Thanks

    Would a build like this give me what I'm looking for? I'm sure there are better options out there I just started playing around with builds the other day.

    Or something like this

    Haha heals in a bubble....Idea is to have the heals of a bard ,but survivabilty as well.For warfronts,situational world pvp.Using chloro spells for dmg(heals)
    and instant cast heals when of cd..And if someone pisses you off ,pop heatwave - machinegun fireballs....
    Haha need to experiment some more with it,thinking i may take 5 points out of accelerated growth and put it into circle of life (as heals will be used when of cd always)

    Let me know what you think...
    or perhaps 2 in circle of life with 3 phytogenisis (though havent played with spores alot since nerf so unsure of its effectiveness vs say withering vine)

    I will typically run a Chloro/Warlock/Archmage spec but to me that isn't "support", it's all about heals.

    When I want to "support" my team, I roll SC/Dom/Arch. It's a blast to play (for me at least). I have tons of CC's at my disposal, and SC puts out some pretty decent damage. Once you toss on your Electrified debuff, just spam Cloudburst. I love the Hypothermia snares, and the fast cast after Squirrel really helps with the initial cast times.

    It's not a beast in damage, but I find it supports my team quite nicely and it's pretty enjoyable to play around with.

    Thanks for the replies. I was messing around and put this build together, does anyone run something similar to this? It seems like it would have alot of survival tools, some support through heals, decent dmg with tons of dots, soul purge, and stream of rec, couple AEs and a few CC options with fear, snare, silence, 30% heal debuff, etc...

    Default chloro/lock/dom

    I actually use this build for both PVE and PVP;

    I don't know how well it will work for you per se but I like it alot, its not super tweaked one way or the other yet as I'm still messing with it but ... it allows me to provide healing and still play a damage role. I only use dominator for squirrel.

    Have fun
