Default So Skele Horror & Skele Zealot have the same stats ?

Just found out that Horror and Zealot have the exact same stats
the only difference is that zealot have one more skill than horror....

    that is very disappointing =_+

The Zealot is amazing, and will become your best friend.

Do you even have one? You don't know until you know, man. You don't know until you KNOW!

yea, I have both, that's why I am disappointed... If "Blood Spike" is the only difference between them, why not just let Skele Horror learns that skill as it ranks up, and make Zealot serves another purpose or make him a totally different type of pet ?

hmm, can you post the combat parser results on both the Horror and Zealot? I love my Zealot's dps in dungeons, not getting it.

Spending one skill point for two skills (one for two different pets) sounds like a bargain to me. Especially a skill that can change the way you play that pet.

Would be nice to buff it, too, but I suppose the 26pt talent tied to Zealot/Knight does that well enough.

Doesn't the horror stop leveling after 30?

You just don't understand how good Blood Spike is once you get 3/3 Clattering Bones. My pet crits for 650 with Blood Spike at 50.

Yup. Guaranteed crits on Blood Spike due to necrosis always being on the mob = goodness.
The zealot really pulls his own weight.

I'll create some parses later today, showing him unassisted on a training dummy, and then with Necrosis/Looming/Grave rot on. It's a very big difference.

When you first get it the zealot is very underwhelming. Same stats, hp etc as horror with addition of blood spike. As others have said though, horror stops leveling at 30, and once you get 3/3 clattering bones his blood spike dmg goes up alot.

    So, tests are done.

I started out on the normal practice dummy, but had to move to the elite practice dummy for subsequent tests. It didn't make a difference - a subsequent test showed the same un-assisted DPS on the elite dummy as on the non-elite.

Pet is level 50 vs. level 50 dummies. All tests are done with 3/3 clattering bones.
I could have done the test with 5/5 plague bolt to add deathly calling - I couldn't be bothered to respec, so I used Grave Rot.

This is not an "omg look at my l33t D33ps" parse. It's simply a parse to give you an idea of how much extra damage the Zealot pet puts out when different debuffs are on the mob.

    Results

    Unassisted: ~90 DPS
    (http://img141.imageshack.us/i/roguepetunassisted.jpg/)

    Necrosis only: ~143 DPS
    (http://img850.imageshack.us/i/roguepetnecrosisonly.jpg/)

Necrosis + Looming demise: ~161 DPS
    (http://img819.imageshack.us/i/roguep...loomingde.jpg/)

Necrosis + Looming demise + Grave rot on cooldown to refresh deathly calling: ~188 DPS
    (http://img864.imageshack.us/i/roguep...bysitting.jpg/)

So, there you have it. The pet gains a decent amount of power when debuffs are applied. Enjoy

I will do an unassisted/full debuffs buffs test tomorrow - I don't think he's very impressive on single-target mobs, though.

Yea, that's how I'm feeling about Zealot right now at level 23. None of my pets can hold aggro at all.
