Backdraft - Pyro

Backdraft is a 26 point talent in Pyromancer. At rank one is say at rank 1 it does 274 AoE damage which it did while I leveled.

At level 32 I purchased rank 2 and the damage droped to 51-54 AoE.

Is this huge drop correct?

The tooltip on the talent tree lists it at 250+ damage. Once you purchase it, however, and place it on your hotbar or look at it in your learned talents, it will say it does significantly less damage. It follows the formula presented on your learned abilities rather than your talent tree.

It was on my action bar, and I had been using it. It had the damage at 274. Then when I purchased rank 2 it dropped to 54 on the action bar.
