Should you feel a chill in your bones, or an electric current in the air, you may want to run very far, very fast. You can no more hide from my lightning than block hoarfrost with a shield

I'm guessing you mean for instances and such, in which case I can't help you.
I can give you my generic build for running around with some friends and warfronts. 22 warden, rest cabalist and 0 purifier for the shield. This gives you lots of healing capability and enough damage when you need it. Plus the utility of snaring groups, silencing a caster, and aoe'ing clustered targets. It's good times, I can't really bring myself to play any other builds at this point, your results may very, use only as directed, not responsibile for loss of property or life, etc etc etc.

I tend to disagree with this statement Simply because i subsitute cabby in for an extra 5% spell power because i prefer spell power over crit. my lvl 50 build will probably look something like this:

to me this build maximizes healing, without worrying about omg i need to crit. as great as crit healing is, if you rely on it and you hit a bad bit of luck with no crit heals, then your tank will get toasted. Better to have higher base power imo.

At higher levels I like to do Purifier Warden. The third I don't go into so I pick one with lv 1 spells I like. Main reason why I prefer this build is that at lv 31 Purifiers get the ability to put a buff on a target that any over healing 70% of it goes to people with in 7 meters of him/her. So I put it on the tank and heal him and everyone gets healed. I tell the group to stay within his range but out of damage so that if someone needs healed from some random move they get healed from him. I also go into warden cause of the AoE hot, the healing hot and the plain hot that I put on the tank and this helps keep him up. With this build and Purifiers OP single target healing the tank never dies and there is good enough raid healing going on from my spells. Healing breath is really nice picked as a third soul cause it is sometimes necessary if a dps or myself takes damage and heals for a boatload.

There's WAY too many possibilities for any "one" build to be the "best healer". The "best healer" is the guy who knows how to play it, not the build. Even so, comparing those of equal skill... there's still no best build.

You think Sent looks like Purifier? They do two totally different things. Sentinel is mainly a raid heal soul (like holy in wow), and Purifier is for tank healing with off heals on the raid/group (disc spec). They are not the same, one is not "better". If anything, it's a diff in play style.

I am playing mainly warden atm, stacking single target hots (6), and orb to spread them if you need group heal, aoe hots, I have zero point into purifier for the self bubble, a few points in sent for end buff, instant direct heal and a direct heal with no CD as needed. I like to cast as many instant spells possible and I find warden tree can give a lot of mobility for pve or pvp. Not to mention AoE hots doing great for rift healing =P

Theorycrafting will determine the best "single target" and "group heal" builds since everything is based off calculations. There probably won't be ONE best build of each type - but a few "best builds" for each type sine each soul tree brings similar type heals to the table [along with gear, enhancements, potions, etc].

my main on beta is a healer Snuk ... i reached lvl 31 ... and i tested all the healing souls ... i will post my opinion on all of them ...

Sentinel : i personaly think is the best healing spec for instances, you get insane heals on the tank, around 1500 crit but has 3 sec cast, the aoe heals are ok but they require a lot of mana ... you get one instant AOE (with 2 min cooldown if i remember right) and one 2 second cast aoe (can't remember if you have cooldown on this one).
At low lvl you will suck but around lvl 25 when you can spent points in "Serendipity" you will start to shine with 900 normal heals on a 1.5 sec cast and with the "lasting invocation" at max you heal like crazy.
You have "Healer's Covenant" that reduces dmg your target takes by 40% for 10 secs witch is insane when the tank has 4-5 elite mobs on them.

Bottom line verry good for single target healing and good for aoe heal but at the expence of mana.

Warden: it has a lot of hots but i don't like how this class plays off, maybe my rotation was bad but after i finish puting the last hot on the tank i need to start again because the first one i used is about to wear off ... and the problem is that this hots can't heal hard enough in an instance when a trash mob hits for 1000-1200 dmg special hit on a lvl 29 tank (this is in DM, the decapitators or whatever their name is) .
This build is verry good in PVP when you can run and cast hots and players hit for around 500 crit only ... i had a good time in warfronts with this build.

Bottom line verry good in PVP but in PVE as i see it, warden iss the raid healer he can't be the main tank healer, maybe only if their hots get a little more love ...

Purifier: this one i haven't tested as much as warden and sentinel (i didn't make DM with this soul as main) but i tried PVP as some of the ppl already stated this soul plays a lot as a discipline priest, has a lot of abilityes that shields the ally but they are not as big as they should be ... 600 absorbed dmg is down in 3 secs if 2 players focus on you.
Maybe i will give some more timp to this soul next beta... i haven't tryed it after lvl 25.

Bottom line the shields need to get some buffs, i don't know on what this soul excels but i got my *** wooped in PVP and in PVE at rifts ...

So here are my opinions on healing souls ... and remember are just my opinions ... fi you don't share them post yours.
