While the dps buff is below RNG impact, the mana change makes shaman lasts for 9 minutes straight in a raid setting, without Verse of Joy.

To me this feels more like an insult than anything else.

If those changes go live, it will probably be a 1-2% dmg buff, which is next to nothing. As for the mana changes, those should have been implemented a long time ago, but at least we get them at all. Having the shield absorb 85% now will make it possible to actually survive for a few seconds in PvP, which is quite welcome. The biggest problem with Shaman though, namely disconnects, still hasn't been addressed, which is quite a disappointment.

Well, it's obviously just a quick change to prevent us from saying that all classes but Clerics got changes with 3.4. The mana change is long overdue and necessary, the damage buff won't be noticeable at all.

Nothing done for Inquisitor either.

I'm parsing around 99k in live gear on PTS. For reference, that's what paragon and assassins are pulling.

Of course shaman doesn't have much utility, but neither does assassin.
The real outlier is harbinger, which needs to be tuned down, especially considering all the utility and lol disconnect.

The scaling with SP is an issue aswel : T3 test gear assassin and paragon are pulling very close to live gear, while shaman is pulling 94k in test gear.
The base damage should be lowered while SP scaling should go up in such a way that live gear shaman isn't affected, but scales better with T3 gear.

like fufi said, 99-100k in live gear and i'm sure his gear is very similar to mine, if not better. i only did one parse each, but they were long parses.

what i'm seeing is that shaman is already behind, and will fall behind even more as it's outscaled in yet another tier. 1.66% isn't gonna cut it.

Why would you even care what shaman parses with test gear since you're never going to wear that kind of trash on live. Crit items and low CP in a spec with force crits just doesn't work at all. Live gear parses are what matter and in those shaman is doing the same dps as specs like assassin and paragon.

No but thats what gery and acuta wrote on our skype comparing it with foofi.

para test gear is 98k in live gear 98-99k
assasin more or less 100k with live gear and a bit lower with test gear.
