    Default Best Cleric Combo?

I hope to get many opinions and reasons to back them up for this thread.

I want to be a healer with strong healing over time spells, and strong burst heal spells and also be a rather tough target to slay. what should i roll?
I was thinking Warden, Sentinel, and Justicar. What do u think the best combination is for straight healing clerics? and why?

    Thank you!

Is a hippopotamus just a hippopotamus, or a really cool Oppotamus?

    Warden/Sentinel

If you played world of warcraft...

Image a resto druid, with a lifebloom that doesnt bloom. A balanced earth shield, a typhoon that can be used at 30 yards, and then knocksback. Hand of freedom on yourself but much more balanced, a desperate prayer on steroids, and amazing aoe heals.

(The tidal surge + healing breath makes it heal for about 600-700 at level 30 [the desperate prayer on steroids, and can be used on others])

The only thing you dont get is spammable burst heals.

Well, if you want to lose mobility and survivability you'll have to go a bit further in sentinel to get bursty heals.

But For PvP you'll want atleast 15 points in templar so the trees are super tight.
I'm assuming you are talking about PvP.

All of the cleric healing souls are good you just have to understand what they do and go off of what role you want to play. If youre good youre going to be good which ever set up you want to run.

Templar is one of the four dedicated PvP souls for clerics. However, because they take so many points, you'll ahve a spending pool of about 12-16 points in it depending on what you want.

Here is a build with a templar in it.

i realize that the game will take a rather large amount of skill to play, or atleast kick *** in pvp. but I am just looking for the best possible combination for maximum performance with heals and survivability. in PvE and PvP

In PvE survivability is far less worth compared to HPS and Burst.

    whaaa????

so let me get this straight. there are more than just 8 different souls for Clerics, so, sentinel, warden, cabalist, justicar, druid, shaman, inquisitor, purifier. PLUS 4 more? when do u gain access to these 4 others?

You get 1 per class, Templar is the PvP soul for Clerics.

You cannot get the other 3 unless you are that other class.
They are bought in your main city at the PvP vendors.

Well like I said you just have to understand the souls. Warden is probably the best for healing a group. sentinel has single target and AoE heals all direct, probably has the best abillity to deal with burst damage to a group. Overall though I think warden is better for group heals. Purifier has single target heals and absorb shields and also has some skills for personal survivability.

I could go on and on about what I think but you just kind of have to look at the trees play a little bit and decide for yourself.

oic. so a total of 9 then per calling?

well. i noticed on that link u gave me the templar soul only had like 5 roots. is that because it isnt finished. or are the pvp souls just not as "deep" as the regular souls.

PvP souls are designed to be 21 points, but have 2 or 3 paths.

However, because it takes so many points to get to the top it's unlikely anyone will pass 15.
