Not noticeably in combat. I did a simple dummy parse for myself right before and right after the update. The dps change for me is there, by negligible.

I just did two parses and showed a 4.5% average increase. I saw 3 parses from someone else showing a 5.5% increase. I would estimate this change resulted in a ~5% shaman dps boost.

I would say 4.5% is pretty accurate or maybe slightly lower. It is a solid buff nonetheless and really all shaman needed.

I would like to know where we stand now in a pts parse against para and sin. Here is a 4 minute parse with a feast as the only consumable. I had pretty solid MB crit rng but regardless it is a sizeable increase over last week.

Parse numbers will change the longer fight last, because some specs like Sin are unable to recreate their burst due to how the spec works. Basically for first 60sec you can get +15% dps all the time (unless you screw up rotation or get ability lags) and after that it's only +15% dps for 15s every ~30sec with bonus 15s every 2min (from slip away), so the longer fight last the less impact of the 1st min bonus burst. There's also a lot of rng involved with poisons apply and criting during poison malice buff etc.

With recent buffs Shaman should do slighty more dps on average than Sin in a 4-5min+ parse.

Paragon will still be ahead by 1-3% (depending on rng)

Depending on crit rng, pryo is 1k - 2k ahead of your parse on pts.

It is good to see shaman's got such a nice boost. Stormbringer was blowing it out of the water (pun intended) and now post stormbringer nerf and post sham buff they parse simmilar.

61 Sin stands highest as far as I saw, followed by 61 shaman, and then 61 Paragon.

61 Pyro should be ahead of all possible pve spec, and is roughly 1k to 1.5k ahead of 61 sin.

I think para/shaman are close to equal. 61 sin is top melee. Pyro is top overall.

This is one of the stupidest things I've heard yet.

All main DPS spec's across the classes need to be equal to eachother. Melee DPS needs to be > Ranged DPS.

Well thats not the case, in reality pyromancer can wipe the floor with any spec ingame, melee or ranged, regardless of class.

Mages are entitled to having a ranged spec competitive with melee since their class is built around range specs with the exception of Harb/Arbiter (both paid for souls). I would like for them to be more in line with melee specs than they are currently but i am fine with a ranged being in the top.

This dogma is out of date, and a blanket statement that can not be applied to encompass the entire game.
