    Default about channel spells

    i am wondering if channel spells count as cast time spells anyone know?

    you do see there is a casted time on it right? when the effect is instantaneous that is an instant. when you have to stand still and wait for a period for the effect (aka casting) thats a cast time. Jus like shards of light, disoriented shadows and decay spells.

    No bishop, you are wrong. Channels are not counted as cast time spells. For example, talents that increase the healing of cast time spells will not affect ward of flame.

    They are oddly counted as DoTs and HoTs lol

    Yeah, spells like Soul Purge/Mana Drain get the damage bonus from Contaminate, as an example, and increased in strength from the old Warlock gift to DoTs.
