Default Teach me how to heal!

I've been trying to be a healer in dungeons, but it's starting to get really hard! I was doing good on the lower level dungeons, but now I'm lv56 and I just can't seem to keep up, I feel like I'm causing all of my groups to wipe. I currently have all of my points in warden, with 10 in sentinel. When I heal, I usually try to keep healing spray, healing flood, and 4 stacks of soothing stream active on the tank, and then I spam overflowing renewal on him so that he gets more heals and the rest of the party gets overhealing. I also use orbs of the tide when I can, and use the expanding ring skill or downpour if it looks like the other team members are dying.

With this strategy though, I find that usually if any of the HoT skills don't get refreshed in time, or if I'm half a second late on any skill, the whole party wipes. And with constantly refreshing the HoT skills it doesn't leave much room for me to cast other skills or anything. So, does anyone have any advice on what I may be doing wrong, or how I can heal more effectively in dungeons? I don't have much healing experience so any advice is more than welcome!

Sentinel is your most powerful single target heal spec. Spam invocations ftw. Your job is to keep tank alive and provide spot heals for dps. Sent can do that far more effectively than warden. Wardens single target heals are quite weak. When you get into experts you'll be almost exclusively using a max sent build... Until your sp gets high enough to give defiler a shot.

Hell I bet with the changes to puri, even puri would be more effective at 5man healing than warden

Warden is meant to be an area healing specialist, it is only used in groups of 10+. Try sentinel or defiler and you will have a much easier time. And actually, purifier could be the best of all. It is newly redone as of *today*, and the way things work in RIFT the newest soul is often the best. I can't confirm though; I haven't tried it yet.
