    Default tank caps

Has anyone worked out what the soft and hard caps are for cleric tanks in terms if avoidance and block?

The rating caps are as follows:
Block Soft Cap: ~3534 with raid buffs
    Block Hard Cap: >10000 (unattainable)
    Parry Hard Cap: ~9425 (unattainable)
    Dodge Hard Cap: ~9425 (unattainable)

So the only one you need to concern yourself with is the Block Soft Cap, which is low 3300s unbuffed since raid buffs add a little over 200 Block rating via Wisdom buffs.
    Nope.

3151 block here with full relic and GA gloves minus mace/shield relics.

So unless you are fully maxed out on GA gear you have nothing to worry about

3300+ block in 125 Toughness purples and a couple of expert pieces. Started swapping in dodge/parry gear to stay close/under cap.

Just means that when you get to 3300 or so, start tuning your focus or gear as needed not to go too far over.

3192 after dropping 9 Def for 9 Inq. I expect I'll be very close to being back at soft cap in a few more upgrades. So, even being now on the accepted norm spec, I still assert that the block soft cap is very reachable.

If you're using Block Runes (which you shouldn't) then you may be getting toward the Block Soft Cap. But you shouldn't use Block Runes, always use the Endurance Runes.
    Nope.

Don't care at all, just go for Max Endurance and ignore the rest.
    Nope.

Exactly what Primal said. Storm Legion raid bosses hit hard though slowly in most cases. On a majority of the fights there are a 1-3s delay between attacks. The smaller amount of attacks the less rolls for avoidance against them, and since they hit harder a higher endurance pool is a much safer bet.

Wait... this is the cleric forum, I'll be exiting stage right now.

It's so sad that this is the state of tanking now, I miss the days when tanks used to have to think about which stats benefited them the most.
