    Default Justicar Key Layout

Someone recently posted asking for inquisitor key layouts, and that prompted me to wonder what layouts other tanks are using.

I'm having issues with my character stopping when I cast my aoe threat abilities since I have them bound to ctrl+1-3 while strafing. This leads me to think that either Rift or my keyboard can't handle 3 keys being pressed at once.

So, where are your abilities bound?

Pretty much 1-3, with four abilities on the mouse. The rest I click. ST macro, AOE macro, and the 5% miss aoe.

remap your keys. Make wise use of your F1-6, map all your most used on those, then put lesser used or long CD stuff on 6-12 and F6-12. Others I have heard actually use 6 as their center reference and spread left and right from there on number and function keys. That gives 24 hotkeys easily accessible.

    I use 1-5 and Shift+1-5
I right click to turn (like everyone should) so my fingers are on Q, W and E, leaving me with Shift+QWERT, ASDF and Shift+ASDF. I use my "spam" abilities on 1-4, debuffs on Shift+1 and 2.
I usually like to keybind a shield or combat buff to Shift+4, and interrupt/stun on Shift+3, I don't know why it's just ingrained in my head after years of MMOs.

Alternative cooldowns/mana regen I put on Shift+A, Shift+D is usually a dash type ability, Shift+F is CC breaker. D and F are usually interrupts or something off the GCD since they're so easy to mash quickly, while Shift+S is a shield or something defensive, Shift+Q is always cleanse, Shift+W an offensive ability like purge, Shift+E taunt.

Lastly I use Shift+spacebar to mount! And Shift+middle mouse to battle rez, and mouse buttons 1-3 combined with shift modifiers for even moar keybinds!

TLR Keep it similar across characters/specs, and you will have your keybinds memorized in no time. Just need to have those go-to keys for similar abilities, and find something that works for you!

    Cheap 5 button logitech.

I find that keeping one hand in charge of movement, and the other in charge of ability use, allows me to react to things faster.

This is more than likely an issue with your hotkey keybinds.
I noticed this when dimensions was first introduced to PTS.

Dimensions' "Duplicate Dimension Item" is default CTRL+D.
Therefore if you have CTRL+ abilities and you try to turn right using D, you'll end up 'stopping'.

Simply hit ESC -> Key Bindings -> "Dimensions" (just below "Chat Window" category) and right-click the Duplicate Dimension Item Key 1 and it'll become Not Bound.

This is late, but thank you. It fixed my issue completely and made my dimension decorating much easier, since I realized there was a duplicate item hotkey. 2 birds, 1 stone. You rock.

    shift+r - aoe-taunt

    Utility:
    shift+3 - brezz

    Just 2 things:

    http://assets.razerzone.com/eeimages...4-right-03.png
    Razer Naga

    or

    http://s.discoazul.de/images/logitech-g600-mouse-05.jpg
    Logitech G600

Both have 12 Buttons. If you use Alt + Buttons oder Shift + Buttons you have easily 36 skills or macros to use without searching or klicking them with the mouse.

    Makes gaming so much easier.
