    Default PTS Parses and Builds

    Hey all,

I wanted to start up a thread here to help consolidate the parses people have been running with the changes out on PTS. Please try to keep this to parses and discussions relating to those. Suggestions and feedback regarding changes should be kept to the threads regarding that soul.

When posting a parse, please include the build you used.

Regarding what gear to use for parses, please use the test gear available in the dummy foundry. While not perfect gear it does keep gear and stats at a known quantity.

    Default Druid Parse

Haven't seen the most recent changes to Fae Mimicry (reduced cooldown) and RB but here this is in 61Druid/13Shaman/2 Inquisitor.

    (04:00) Raid-Ready Practice Dummy - 62: 21321 Haybale

51.75% Crit Rate after removing the hits from Spotter's Order and Fae Mimicry.

Fae Mimicry Contributed 5.41%. Being reduced to 30 Seconds should be a nice boost.

Resounding Blow was 12.75% and is normally my top damage by 3-4%.

Pet Accounted for 21.81% of my total DPS

My latest parses on pts, given i play from iceland with 200+ latency it does lower the possible dps by a little bit since over the course of 4-5m parses i tend to loose a few gcd´s.

    61 druid - 10 inq - 5 def / 20930 dps
    61 druid - 10 inq - 5 def / 21046 dps
    61 druid - 10 inq - 5 def / 20830 dps
    61 Druid - 8 inq - 7 sham / 20928 dps
    61 Druid - 8 inq - 7 sham / 21835 dps
    61 Druid - 8 inq - 7 sham / 21035 dps
    61 Sham - 10 druid - 5 inq / 21858 dps
    61 Sham - 10 druid - 5 inq / 21340 dps
    61 Sham - 10 druid - 5 inq / 22340 dps
    61 Sham - 10 druid - 5 inq / 22568 dps
    61 Sham - 10 druid - 5 inq / 23240 dps
    61 inq - 15 def / 22013 dps
    61 inq - 15 def / 21928 dps
    61 inq - 15 def / 22018 dps
    61 inq - 15 def / 22354 dps
    61 inq - 15 def / 21805 dps
    61 inq - 15 def / 22196 dps
    61 inq - 15 def / 22095 dps

61 inq 15 defiler /// Average dps - 22058 (compared to other clerics i parse with i seem to be loosing a few BoR over the same amount of time as them, around 6-7 over the course of a 4min parse due to latency)

    61 Sham - 10 druid - 5 inq /// Average dps - 22269

Will be testing more variations on druid tomorrow and post more parses of that.

    61 druid - 10 inq - 5 def /// Average dps - 20935

    61 Druid - 8 inq - 7 sham /// Average dps - 21266

I believe this one could go much higher. I will try to max it out but i belive it is safe to say the Fae Mimicry change is needed

    Hello Fellow Clericers!

I'm gonna post my PTS parses. All parses were taken in PTS gear at 4mins each.

    51Dru/25Shaman/0Inquis
    1)21,720
    2)22,220
    3)22,000
    Average: 21,980

    61Dru/7Inq/8Shaman
    1)23,760
    2)22,700
    3)23,100
    Average: 23,186.67
The reason I used 8 Shaman instead of 7 Shaman was for MB, you only lose 1% effective damage from Corporal Punishment, but you gain about 7% damage from the use of MB over FS. This also allows for your opener Mimicry to be used with 3 13k base damage abilities, for some huge front-loaded dmg.

    61Sham/10Dru/5Inquis
    1)23,450
    2)22,900
    3)23,620
    Average: 23,323.33

    61 Inquisitor/15Defiler/0Blah
So nobody has yet to mention this, so I don't know if people are doing comparitive parses, but with the recent changes to Inquisitor's GCD and the reduced cast time to BoR after a Unified Theory, the Inquisitor rotation should incorporate a mixture of BoJ and BoR. The reasoning behind this is that with BoR's casttime being longer than the GCD of the cleric, we will effectively lose a GCD every 3.33 casts. This being said, the first set of parses were with the new rotation, and the second set were with the old rotation.
    New
    1)22,300
    2)23,670
    3)22,560
    Average: 22,843
    Old
    1)21,880
    2)22,320
    3)22,450
    Average: 22,216.67

I recommend you guys post with more detail instead of just mentioning what number you got. A sample of your parse breakdown would be helpful, also, mention your stats.

I understand that stats are supposed to be the same so no reason to mention, but i have no clue if everybody actually followed the instructions properly or not unless they provide that info.

A common mistake people do would be using standard mode Dummy Foundry which only has level 52 dummies in it, that will skew your numbers and it will affect the balance if they use your numbers as reference, since they had no idea you were doing it wrong, when all you say is "I parsed 22.6k with Inq".
    See you all in Wildstar!

For all of my parses, I used the "Storm Legion TEST EQUIPMENT - 5 - Raid 2 Relic - DPS or Support" chest that is acquired in Master Mode Dummy Foundry. Using all available DPS runes and test lessers, as well as the "Empowered Touch of True Ascension" as my trinket. My parses were done in Expert Difficulty Dummy Foundry (62), not Normal Difficulty Dummy Foundry (52).

@Mizza I think you may have messed up your uploaded Druid Picture. The parser dps, does not match your stated dps, and the ability break down is off.

The pic I linked doesn't include the pet DPS which makes up the other ~5k or so.

I haven't messed with druid as much because the upcoming changes are going to adjust the rotation a fair bit, but what about the breakdown is off? Curious to know as I doubt Im using it correctly.

Didn't notice that. I only saw you were missing Spirit of Asphodel and didn't correlate that to the absence of a pet I suppose I was getting very lucky with this morning's parses, as my EoL was resetting RB quite a bit, actually accounting for about 18% of my damage. I feel like the dps of druid is too centered around the reset of RB.

Also, I noticed that a macro similar to (cast Combined Effort cast Resounding Blow cast Massive Blow cast Fervent Strike) will actually reduce the amount of dmg that effectively comes from RB resets. By this I mean, if you have EoL on a target, and your RB is the ability that resets the CD of RB and your CE is on CD, the 50% increased dmg from the first RB will not be used on the 2nd RB; however, when you use that 2nd RB the next ability will of course have a 50% dmg increase (as long as it is not another RB reset).

    Example
EoL > CE > RB (procs a reset of RB from EoL) > RB (because it is next in the macro rotation, yet does not consume 50% dmg buff from previous RB) > MB > FS
