Default Combined effort and rage blight question

So, I think I know, but want to know for sure:

Does the combined effort 5% damage modifier equal the 5% from rage blight?

And do these add 5% in the same manner as 5% from the soul trees?

Multiplying any tooltip by 1.05 equals what it shows with 5 rage blight stacks. Casting vex with combined effort up was 1.05 the damage as well. Does this mean both are multiplicative..or added with the gifts and modifiers from soul trees?

Damage bonuses from gifts/talents, self buffs, raid buffs, and debuffs are all in different stacking groups, so they multiply together. So yes the 5% from rage blight multiplies your damage with talents/gifts by 1.05, and if you also used Combined Effort that would multiply it further by 1.05. 5% from the soul trees however is additive with the gifts and any other passive talent.

    So roughly:
    Resulting Damage = Base Damage * (1+gifts+passives) * (1+selfbuffs-selfdebuffs) * (1+externalbuffs-externaldebuffs) * (1+increaseddamagetaken-decreaseddamagetaken)

And spellpower is in there somewhere...

Crits are a modifier multiplied with everything else. This is what makes crit power so strong
