    Default Macro-modifier aid?

I have no idea if this is the correct place to post questions like this, but you guys seem forgiving enough of ******s like myself, so I thought I'd take a gamble anyway.

I'm making a healing-macro that looks like this:

    Code:
    #show Healing Spray
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast @mouseoverui Healing Spray
    cast [alt] @mouseoverui Healing Flood

It's my little HoT-macro designed to make single and multi-target HoT'ing a little easier.

Yet holding alt and pressing the macro does nothing. Just nothing.

    Have I overlooked something obvious?

    Thank you, wonderful Rift-community!

From what I've tried, the button-modifiers only work when clicking the macro on a bar, rather than keybinding it. Kinda sucks, but given this, having [alt] and @mouseoverui on the same ability doesn't have much point.

Awww, well that sucks. But if that is truly the case then my macro-idea is forfeit anyways.

    Thanks anyway though, guy!

Did you make sure that <Alt>[whatever key you're pressing] is not already bound to something in the Keybinds menu? That might be doing something.

    1) Your macro should look like this in order to work:

    #show Healing Spray
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast [alt] @mouseoverui Healing Flood
    cast @mouseoverui Healing Spray

You want to prioritize Healing Flood when pressing alt, therefore it must be higher up in the macro.

    2) If it still doesn't work then as poster above said, check if alt combinations are not already keybound.
