Default Absolution causing Convictions to stop working?

I've had this problem since 2.1, but it doesn't happen all the time. When tanking and someone dies and the healer doesn't have a BR up, I would normally use Absolution to res a dead party member.. I have run into this a few times to where once I use absolution my convictions no longer are being gained form using my Justicar attacks. Up until I leave combat and then they work again.

This isn't happening 100% of the time, but has happened 3 times in the last 5 or 6 times I've had to use Absolution.

I'm not sure exactly what's happening, but I am sure that it's stopping me from gaining convictions.

Is anyone else having this problem ?

Edit : I'm finding it somewhat annoying to the point where I can't use my Doctrine of Glory, Hammer of Faith and few other attacks/selfheals/group heals which require convictions to be used. Especially on some fights where I use Doctrine of Glory and Just Defence to soak up some of the mines on ( Manslaughter )

Could it be possible that you're accidentally activating Purpose?

Hmm that's really odd , my tooltip on Purpose wasn't up to date, I repaired my game client and it has now updated. Thank you for pointing this out, I would have never guessed.
