lvl'g a healing cleric through the WF's
Hi, I have started a new cleric and I am just enjoying playing through the WF's I am currently ward/sent spec and I just hit 23. I have some decent gear from the world event as I had this char made way back in the day but I was curious if there is any better or preferred healing spec for the lower levels in the warfronts?
Yay! Another healing cleric! It's my favorite way to play my cleric in warfronts, especially when leveling. Warden/sentinel is really the best way to go in warfronts in my opinion. The HoTs can really make the difference when a rogue pops out and stuns you. I like to put Purifier as my 3rd soul for the Shield of the Ancestor. No points are needed for this ability and it's a nice little extra protection from the warriors and rogues who always seem to come from nowhere.Originally Posted by Squishor
Of course as a lower level, it's sometimes fun to go Inquisitor/Justicar/Sentinel for a little DPS.
But I definitely think you are on the right track. Participate in all the rift world events you can because the planar rewards vendors have the best gear for warfronts. Don't waste your favor on lower level gear from the PvP rewards vendors. Save it for when you hit level 50. My husband did that and had enough for his first full set of valor gear. He bought it and it was in his bank just waiting for him to hit level 50

Warden/Sent may be the best option until you get close to 50.
You might always want to try some *icar variations - the DoL is handy and you get some mitigation. but you shouldn't really need to be defensive until you hit 50. Expect it to be painful at 50 for a bit.
