Thread: Justicar: 31-40 tree, 52-61 root ideas

    Default Justicar: 31-40 tree, 52-61 root ideas

    inspired by Paladins from WoW ,and Guardians from GW2,

    Tree:

    40 pointer would be a spell that can be used on ether a Ally or a Enemy target. If used on Ally, it will heal that target, and make that ally a healing ward that heals allies near that targeted ally, even when moving.
    *if used on enemy, it will deal damage to that target, and place a ward on them that heals ally nearby that target even if they move.

    also would like a skill point that makes Rebuke useable on enemy players.

    Root:

    Would like something similar to Line of Warding from Guardians, that block movement of enemy, or something similar to Ring of Warding that circles the enemy. Maybe making this channeled would be balanced. But interesting idea. could heal allies in the ward, and prevent movement outside the ward for enemies.

    No thx, i'd rather have actualy tanking skills/talents in the justicar tree. Those sound like nice skills for a purifier though.

    Well Justicar is part Support.

    also Wards work for defense as well, since enemies cant pass threw it.

    the other skill I suggested has a damage and healing part which would generate threat. seems to fit both still.

    I sure as hell wouldnt mind more healing in the justicar tree quite honestly.

    Ok, I may have misunderstood, I was imagining something like orbs of the tide type skill.

    So is this some sort of absorb shield that heals reactively?
    Insta cast or induction? Useable on self or not?
    Powerful with long CD or weak with short CD?
    Does it cost mana or conviction or both?
    If used on an enemy does it deal life damage and does it generate a conviction if so?

    I think thats enough questions to start with

    I just hope they are careful with what they do. I'm gonna groan if I see things like a complete purge given to some soul/class.

    don't really seeing that made to be possible unless it was a grapple ability like the other tanks, but then would be single target for PvE. Just have it be an interrupt in PvP.
    Where's the Auction House to buy more DPS for my cleric?

    Well Cabby already have something similar. dont see why it couldnt work for players as well.

    Also would like a talent that can lower cooldown on Doctrine of Authority while increasing the heal on it and damage.
    maybe add a debuff to is, that causes the target to take Damage if they attack another ally other than the caster.

    Also would like a new Doctrine that has a defensive use to reduce damage some how, or to make target do less damage, while healing allies. Maybe something like a Doctrine that debuffs the enemy and consumes are Convictions, and for each conviction consumed, the target takes weapon damage each time they attack somebody, while also healing allies around them for 60% of that amount.

    And what about a talent that makes Bolt of Radiance restore a percentage of mana. that could be nice perk for high point justicar builds.

    And would like a root aura skill, that heals allies when the justicar is attacked. maybe this can be a tree buff to Just Defense.
