Default Crushing Blow not critting correctly?

So, I've been poking around on the test dummies, and it seems that while Crushing Blow is correctly using different values when under a static spellpower, ranging based on weapon damage (I assume), the crit damage is always static.

So, when under the effects of LfB, a crit for Crushing Blow will always hit for x, and when not under the effects of LfB, a crit for Crushing Blow will always hit for y.

Is this affecting other shaman abilities, too? Also, is this always going to the maximum amount of damage for Crushing Blow?

Normal hits have a damage range, but crits calculate off a fixed value i believe hence they always hit for the same ammount, not sure exactly where in the range this value lies though.

I was led to think it was the max point of the normal hit range that was used to calculate the crit but this could be wrong.

Crits always use the top of the damage range.
